That was gunned down yesterday while on patrol in New Orleans east. Probably not. They'll keep using the anthem as a protest against police violence while thugs are executing cops in the streets.

On a side note, the officer drew his taser while wrestling with the murderer. It wasn't effective. This is why cops draw their firearms more often than not.

It is actually infuriating because this guy died doing his job in a city where many cops don't do shite anymore. It also hits home a bit because my mom actually works with the fallen officer's wife and they just had a kid. I would really like to see the dome come together and do something for him.

Do you want football to be political or not?

Make up your minds.

Is it really political to be opposed to the murder of police officers, and supportive of public service employees killed in the line of duty?

There is and has been a serious problem, criminal even in the violation of civil liberties, with LE in this country.

One LEO killed in the line of duty does not equal the weight of what is being protested.

Why you so angry? You hate blacks?

Blame the players. They tried turning NFL games into political rallies. NFL = politics these days.

Unfortunately the NFL took the bait from the FPOTUS. They made it political

Trash booed right through it. Then cheered when the players stood up and they probably think their boos made them stand.

I hope people were saying "duuuuuuuud" since Ofc. McNeil's nickname was apparently "Milk Dud"
