We need to find a QB who can be that holdover. We have two turnover machines on roster at the moment. Hill isn't the answer but I have a lot more faith in improving someone who never had a chance to get the focus of a coaching staff that a starting QB gets than the one who spent 5 years as a starting QB.

Uh, ok. We have 9 years of film on him from FSU and Tampa. You can have him. And his rapist past.

Based off of what?

Why didn't he get that last year?

Teddy might get cut too.

Good at throwing picks at the worst time

After Brees you will hate him after one 3 int first half. Which happens like 2 or 3 times a yr

Cant forget fumbles he's a master at that too

What tools does he have? Can you provide some tips, some specific details, maybe a link to show what he has done? Thanks

Ugh no.
Being a good QB is as much about being a leader as having physical talent.
Ugh no.

To start? What's changed he still has to be considered a backup I imagine

Didnt do much to change that perception this yr?

Hell Hill was the actual backup he was 3rd string lol or am I wrong?

I see you forgot the 5k yards and 30 tds. He was a young guy in a scheme that just wanted to go deep damn near constantly. I’m optimistic there is a really good player in there.

Once they ship Thomas up the river for draft capital Winston will be much more affordable.

cool and what did that get him?

He was entering his 5th year as a starting quarterback in the NFL.

Isn't the reason why people on this board want him to start because we want him to throw down field?

Doesn't matter. Winston is one of the dumbest people on earth. I'd rather we get some other vet and draft rookies till we find an answer.

He's a question mark. Nobody knows. Not even Winston or Payton.

That was his 5th year in the league.

He throws TD and he throws picks.

The more he throws the ball the more of each he throws.

wait what?

you want to roll with a guy who has never proven he can handle being a QB over one who has?

Hill isn't some 23 year old project. he's older than Jameis

He is horrible. You will now see the start of the decline. All the fuks that trashed brees(teamates) will now see what the saints will be like without one of the greatest auarterbacks.
