I'm thinking second WR. When Brees is playing, Sanders is nearly invisible most games.

Deonte benefits from the attention paid to Thomas and Sanders. And he took great advantage of it today. Made himself some money today. Its one thing to do it in the regular season. You do it in the playoffs, teams take note.

What's crazy is that I thought he was clearly Brees' most targeted & effective player at one point in the game with like 6 catches for like 68 yards.

Then right after they read off MT13's stats of like 5 catches for like 73 yds. At the time, I could only recall MT's one TD play.

It is odd that Sanders isn't running open most games. Everywhere else he has.

I was surprised that callaway didn't catch a pass but he wasn't in much.

They sat on all the routes today.

Sanders is a smart football player.

For context.. Harris is signed through next year and is a restricted free agent after that. I have a feeling someone will spend some decent money on him after next year, but at least we have him for another year.

Dude is only getting paid $630,000 this year and $850,000 next year with a bunch of incentives that he will clearly fulfill if healthy. This dude is a poor mans Tyreek Hill and that is talking good on both of them. I hope we can extend him now for a fair deal, but I know thats tough at this time....

Edit: We’d we dumb not to extend him soon. I think you all agree on this stance cause this guy could be a nightmare going forward..

Harris simply benefitted from the Bears depleted secondary. If a defense is down two corners then you spread them out and throw to #3 & #4.
