It's amazing how many people want to diminish Sean Payton's role in this steaming pile of shite. He has control of the entire organization. Mickey Loomis and Jeff Ireland work for him, not the other way around
Like I said… fair complaint. But if you fire Sean, PLEASE give me a good, realistic candidate to replace him
I bet you can’t

Also, please tell me a fool proof plan for winning the NFC with your third or fourth string QB, your third or fourth string HB, and a WR group that mimics a semi athletic yet random crowd on a southern subway?
Once again, I bet you can’t, despite the fact that our defense is a top ten unit despite being on the field for like 8 straight games

That play you linked was miscommunication. How on earth do you chalk that up to effort?

You obviously are not old enough to remember Aaron Brooks
Aaron Brooks could win a few games for you. Siemian’s not even capable of that.

Pushed the wrong button on the controller is how he’d explain it

Aaron Brooks was a better QB with far more prep time than Sieman has/had
People keep bringing this up but the situations aren’t the same. Neither were/are the expectations

Miscommunication, huh? That makes it better. That's still coaching.

You specifically mentioned effort though

You made it sound like TA just didn’t care. You and Twitter guy are only ones who didn’t realize it was a snap count issue

This guy here. I’m glad that you linked that play, it says everything about your football knowledge or even eye sight to think that was because of effort.

This was an argument pro-Les Miles people used to make. I'm not comparing the two as coaches, just the argument.

Definitely not an easy fix. We lost key guys to injury. It happens. I’m not blaming anyone. Trequan hasn’t worked out like we hoped. Callaway is a second year guy. Same with trautman. It’s tough man. I’m frustrated like everyone else. But we have the right coach. We’re tight against the cap. Not a whole lot we could’ve done. I just think everyone hoped these guys would develop.

I think this team has OVERperformed given the circumstances
We’ve been basically blown out two weeks in a row. This team isn’t over or under performing. This team is flat out bad.

I was hoping for a modicum of competitiveness. Should I feel guilty having that expectation? Was that a product worthy to those who paid top prices for a ticket?

Is this professional football ?
Yes, but it's not magic.

frick, I think this team has OVERperformed given the circumstances they’ve faced
We just lost 31-6 at home. We’ve had to score 20 points in 2 out of the last 4 games in the fourth quarter to make the score look somewhat competitive.
Yet, you think we are over performing.
Jesus Christ.

Yep, mccoy even said it was his fault, he snapped the ball too early on that play. Its easy to see if you pay attention to the replay

Fyi, i 100% agree with the OP. Also, you shortchanged us mentioning the injuries. You forgot the TE1, Best olineman, and the kicker

If it makes you feel better, I think most people feel like you. Had all the fam together for the game and they all just think its a lot of bad luck and what CSP is doing is amazing. Everyone I know feels the same way. Some of these games hes basically had the equivalent of an arena league roster. The idiots are always going to be the most vocal whether it's sports, politics or in any walk of life. Things will get better. Could see Russell Wilson slinging it to Michael Thomas next year, you never know ??
