All BS aside, it really blows my mind that some of our ‘fans’ have the mindset that they have

Do y’all not realize the circumstances surrounding the team right now? The injuries? The QB, RB, WR position have been decimated

The offensive line too.. we are also on our third or fourth string QB

frick, I think this team has OVERperformed given the circumstances they’ve faced but you madden GM motherfrickers think everything is just plug and play. Y’all are some front running, entitled, spoiled arse bitches

Yea. I said what I said

Most people here are casual fans or retarded individuals. Always have to keep that in mind.

I agree but we are bad. You need to remember half these posters are also trolling, or are in junior high.

0-4 last four games and you’re bragging about over performing considering circumstances of latest injuries. Nice

I agree.

They think just putting taysom in is going to magically fix everything.

I think taysom would have us in a better position but there will still be problems.

You summed it up. 8 of 11 starters are gone on offense.

Tell me I’m wrong

I swear it’s like some of these cock suckers have never played any sort of team sport

You can’t just plug and play based off of attributes. It takes time and a little bit of voodoo to develop a championship worthy team… you can’t expect to just plug and play people off the streets and expect the same results

My opinion? Some internet fans have been too spoiled for too long and now that we are coming back down to earth, so to speak, they can’t handle it…

Poor tacking. Wr’s can’t catch covid. QB cant recognize a pass rush that even ray charles could see. Kickers can’t kick even though that’s all they do.

I’d say on madden it would, but he’s like a 72 OVR so these assholes don’t know what to say

I’m kidding about the madden ratings, but you get it

This is not football that any rational human has any interest in watching. Call us “fake” fans or fair weather fans or what have you, but this is bad football. The injuries are obviously a huge problem, but this is not competitive football. Watching this team right now is nothing but self-punishment. If you’re a masochist, go right on ahead and watch. I’m start watching again when this corpse shows a pulse.

As for the folks clamoring for Taysom, the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Simien has lost 3 straight games as a starter and not looked particularly good in any of those games. If Taysom is hurt, he shouldn’t be on the active roster, we shouldn’t be paying him what we’re paying him on that new deal, and Ian Book should be the backup. Even if there’s not actually a better option available, trying a different strategy for a series or two shows that the coaching staff is trying to win by trying something different. It’s okay to try different and fail when what you’re doing is already failing spectacularly. Sometimes, you’re just in a hopeless situation, but trying to innovate in spite of that goes a long way to signal that you haven’t given up, and that you’re still pulling out all of the stops to win.

This team, even with a loss today, is still a lot closer to a playoff spot than a top 5 draft pick in a QB shallow draft. What would tanking even get you in this draft?

Top 3 coaches in the NFL don’t just “come back down to earth”. They adapt, evolve, and survive. Payton did not.
