I liked the CBS broadcast of the game . It was refreshing

I’m a big Kevin Harlan fan. I recall him calling timberwolves games when they had a young Kevin Garnett and he could make a regular season nba game sound big. I also really like his mnf radio broadcast. Classy is the best way I can describe it.

Yeah. He’s got the classic style voice. He’s a pros pro. Gannon was good also. Can’t recall having him before.

I think Harlan still calls NBA on TNT as well. He’s so good that it makes it tough to listen to Mike Breen or Marv Albert afterward

Fox broadcasts always feel like theres some ulterior motive behind the way they call the game ..
Like the saints beating Arizona is bad for Dallas, so Troy and Joe sit there and sulk most of the game

Troy Aikman just sucks. How the frick is he the game of the week guy? It is all because he’s a famous cowboy QB?
Come to think of it, there are not a bunch of awesome color guys. I like Romo, Jordan Rodgers (college), Ronde Barber, the African American scout from NFL network Charles something..::

Isn’t he on Westwood one as well? Guy is great. No gimmicks, just a classy announcer like you said.

Yes he handles the Westwood one nfl radio broadcasts. Paints one hell of a picture. It’s a simple pleasure of mine to be driving at night and to catch one of his radio broadcasts. It’s strangely relaxing.

What I do like about Fox is that they have better sounds of the game than cbs. Also fox announcers have no problem calling out a bad call by the refs.

Kevin Harlan is a national treasure and if anyone speaks ill will of him... well... they're just wrong
FWIW... I was stuck with the Westwood One call of last year's NFCCG on the radio up here in CenLA for some contractual reason... while I prefer listening to the homer call... Kevin Harlan had a fine call

Kevin Harlan! Thanks for posting. I am very glad to be reminded that there are still some Classic Sports Announcers left. He is a true classic and when he retires, he will be irreplaceable.

Yeah Harlan is awesome. I usually catch the first quarter or so on the radio on my way home.
