Willis will go in the first. I think he has enough ability that someone won't be able to pass him up if he is available mid-round. I hope to God it isn't the Saints that pull the trigger, but someone will.

There is a 0.00% chance a QB doesn't go in the first round. At a minimum, you will see a team like the Panthers, Falcons, or Seahawks trade back into the first round to take one at the end. It is a tremendous value to get the 5th year option on a premium position like a QB.

This guy on the NFL Network last night had 4 going. They asked him if he was on drugs.

this hasn't happened since 1996.

In that draft only 8 QBs were drafted.

0 in round 1
1 in round 2 (Tony Banks)
1 in round 3 (Bobby Hoying)
2 in round 4 (Danny Kanell and Jeff Lewis)
0 in round 5
2 in round 6 (Spence Fischer and Mike Cawley)
2 in round 7 (Jon Stark and Kyle Wachholtz)

That has to be one of the worst drafts for any position in NFL Draft history. 4 of the 8 drafted never played an NFL snap. The 4 QBs who actually played combined for 119 TDs and 124 INTs.

By FAR the best QB in the class was Jon Kitna who went undrafted. Kitna had more TDs than the rest of the class combined and had a positive TD/INt ratio (albeit only by 4 TDs). Kitna also lead the NFL in interceptions in 2007 and had two other seasons over 22 INTs... Just all around a terrible year.

I think at least 3 will be selected.

Willis, Pickett, and Ridder

The 5th year option for a potential starting QB is too tempting.

I think the Lions at 32 is gonna be a lock if one of the top 3 QBs are still there.

Very hard to see that happening with the value placed on QB's these days. Even mediocre college QBs have been getting drafted in the first round for years.

IMO, I don't think any team really loves this QB class. But all it takes is one to start a run on QB's. I think Willis or Pickett will be taken in the top 10. That, will cause someone else to draft a QB shortly thereafter for reasons of FOMO. I think at least 2 QBs get drafted in the top 15 and maybe 3 get taken in the first round. The QB position gets treated differently and teams are terrified of missing on a POTENTIAL franchise QB. That causes them to take greater risks than they would with other positions.

Someone with extra draft capital will be too tempted to pass on Willis or Pickett. Willis is very raw but tempting. At least these two and probably a third one will get picked. I see everyone else dropping into the 2nd and beyond.

This is public hive mind that just assumes all NFL GMs think the QBs suck as much as ppl on the internet who talk football do.

Nobody knows shite.

I wish that were the case.

Do you think really think Willis is the #1 overall player in the entire draft? That seems like a hell of a reach imo. I'm no QB guru, but that seems odd.
