Extra pt wouldn't have even guaranteed a tie. Going was the obvious call.

Great decision to go for the win.
Play calli was not a high percentage play. Seems like they would have a better play saved up for a 2-pt attempt. He had no chance to catch that ball.

Lions had 2 timeouts and a +1:00, they’d either get in FG range or give the ball back to the Saints with no time to do anything
