You really think I feel any better now about having Andy Dalton as the QB for the Saints? Great win today, if you want to climb on the Dalton train, go ahead, but all he did was not lose it for us. If your argument is he’s better than Jameis, that’s not saying much. I didn’t expect the Saints to lose out and I never argued Jameis was any better. I’m gonna have to see a heck of a lot more before I believe there’s any future for the Saints with Andy as the leader of this team, and I don’t think I’m alone. He is the definition of an average to below average QB. Let’s put the crow in the freezer for a few weeks, then see who gets a taste.

then what the frick is the point of this thread? You said starting him was a beta move. Who, exactly, should we have started then?

Do you just like to hear yourself talk or something?

Not even a little bit. Healthy Winston is our best shot, even if it’s a long one

He’s averaging 30 a game and would have hit that mark again today if not for a missed chip shot fg and passing on fgs in the 4th due to the blowout. Some of you just can’t take the L

Instead of Handsome Pete, your name should be changed to Dumbass Pete. Also post less.

Until they get somebody better in here he is the best option to win. Hill a good occasional twist at QB as game dictates. Stick a fork in Winston, he’s done.

He’s #3 in the league in points per possession behind Mahomes and Josh Allen

His production is indisputable

Handsome Pete is one dumb frick. Spoiled by the Brees years, I guess. Franchise QBs do not grow on trees. Even the best college QBs that are drafted in the 1st found fail more often than not. Can Handsome Pete even name the starting QB that beat the Pats in the Super Bowl a few years back? I have serious doubts. He probably knows who Peyton Manning is, and truth be told, Peyton won a Super Bowl his last season in the NFL and was HORRIBLE that year.

Hey, Handsome Pete......STFU!!!

You have zero to offer

Wow. I clearly misread the room. I guess I watched a different Andy Dalton for the last 15 years than you guys. I just hate to see everyone get their hopes up. Just because he’s the best option on our roster doesn’t mean he’s suddenly good. I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed, but… something something doomed to repeat it.

And keep the personal attacks to a minimum. Handsome Pete’s got feelings, you know.

Handsome Pete got on my tits. I will dial it back a bit and just say this.

The Ginger is all we got. And if said Ginger can be a game manager, we can win the division and host a playoff game. A thought that seemed beyond absurd 10 days ago

So in other words they have no shot. The only thing Saints have a shot at with Winston is breaking the NFL record with most thrown interceptions in one season.

Got a lot of shite for this post last week. I stand by it. Saints had NO PLAN for the post-Brees era. Now just flailing with chumps like Dalton and Winston. Retread QBs got Rhule and Reich fired, DA is next. Who wants to guess which retread starts for us next season? Mayfield? Ryan? Trubisky?
