The other missing story in this is that Dolphins owner only got 8 game suspension for tampering with a player and coach under contract.
Loomis got 8 game suspension just for being part of the Saints organization during scam bounty gate. Payton got a full year for failing to have control of his team.
Does not appear to be equal punishment for direct role Dolphins owner had in the tampering violation.

The days of when The Times Picayune/States Item had real writers and reporters like Peter Finney and Bob Roesler will never be duplicated. Nobody covered the Saints like they did.

By rule, owners can only be suspended that that length (thought it was 6 but maybe it's 8 games.) It was the max.

Isnt the primary responsibility of an owner to fund the organization and stay the hell out the way by putting football people in place. Last time i checked, she has done that.
The "better" owners of the league have gone at it with Goodell and still lost. I really dont know what you expect
