How many more games does Olave have to ball out for the crow to be eaten

After game 2:
14 catches
198 yds
14.1 ypc
I won't post the 17 game projection because that's a little silly. No way he's gonna get 1680 yds receiving on 119 catches.....
Right?

would be nice if they remember he exists in the first half

That would be extremely helpful.

He’s been good no doubt, but he directly cost us Jalen Carter who has been a terror as a rookie.

He's great. I think most people were happy with the choice but the prospect of trading up to get him usually doesn't work well for the Saints.

Carr is still working it out with the offense game plan and the WR corp.
As the timing gets better, the OL play gets better, and when Kamara comes back this team will be clicking by game 5 or 6.
The key for this team making a deep run will be avoiding the big injury on the defensive line and Davis/ Werner

Olave has been a complete gamechanger for us on offense these first two games too. And Bresee is giving you at least 75% of what Carter is doing rn

Are people actually disappointed in Olave or something? If he wasn't on the team, Saints would easily be 0-2.

Yeah - usually it takes a few weeks for offenses to get rolling. Hopefully that’s what we see.
Conversely, hopefully Carolina didn’t just show the entire league how to play our offense and it becomes a thing.

Why?? Do you feel the need to inject stupidity into this thread?? And anyway he is too busy being pissed off the Saints won last night.

The cats played the pass with us having almost no rb's. No brainer there. But its sad it took two quarters for Ol Pete to realize we had another option on the bench to run the dang ball

He’s been noticeably absent lately

The eagles traded up from the pick we sent them. He’ll also probably suspended within 2 years if not imprisoned

Idiots were some last year, yes. But he's been a bright spot on this team even as a rookie and without him we very well may have lost both of these games.
He was very good year last year and only two things he really needs to improve on to take that leap to great:
1) Run after catch, and he's done that more already in these 2 games. Hopefully this continues
2) Improve the contested catches when he is taking hits. Great highlight reel catch on the juggling catch along the sideline yesterday with the defender tugging on him and had his arm back shows progress. But what I'm referring to are the ones where he's getting a legit hit from a DB, similar to the one in the back of the endzone that he dropped after getting hit by the DB. In fairness he took a strong hit right on the elbow so I don't blame him for not catching it, but that's currently what's separating him from greatness like we saw MT13 build his reputation on

All Defenses are doing the same thing across the league. They are trying to make teams earn every yard and not get behind them for long gains.

He’s fine. The cost to get him was not. We can do this every week

Yea not like devante Adams didn’t just go 1500 and 14 with Carr
Posted on 9/19/23 at 9:33 am to GynoSandberg
Devante wasn't surrounded by a Michael Thomas and Shaheed and whoever else, plus Carr's indecisiveness at times, but hey whatever. I mean that's lofty stats at 119 catches and over 1600 yds, but I hope it happens. I would love to see it hapen.
