Yeah at least in the Tampa game he was under pressure more cause of their blitzing.
Last night it just like he was some constipated old man out there.

It's not hard to play pass defense when you don't have to respect the deep throw. Unless they sneak Taysom off the sideline, the ball isn't going very far.

Yeah, but nothing we can do about it
Sarcasm? We have a former #1 pick who can also make bone head turnovers but he can rocket the ball down the field holding a clipboard.

All you have to do is clog the underneath stuff and know that if he does go deep, it's going to be a weak throw.

Except watch this team sink and pray for a good draft position

Drew Brees will always be remembered for him succumbing to the woke left and then tripling down on it. All that money and all the on the field accomplishments up in smoke due to him disrespecting himself and having no backbone.

Some timing issues are noticeable, but we've all seen the stats on passes downfield tonight. 3rd and long, we know it's going to be a dump off to Kamara and hope he makes something happen.

Yeah, that's when we all could count on Brees to go into god mode & run off a bunch of wins. That Drew Brees ain't walking through the door unfortunately.
He doesn’t have to anymore. We’re good enough around Drew to still win a lot of games. Those other pieces have to be better though. We had a chance to win Monday night despite Drew being ineffective.
Drew isn’t as good as he once was, duh, but he’s good enough to win with this team as currently constructed, I have zero doubt.

But he had a 100% completion record on the last drive. Gotta get those numbers up !

His ability to evade the rush like he used to is gone & he knows he can't push the ball deep either. It's a confidence thing that all QBs deal with when their skill sets begin to erode especially a QB as sharp mentally as Brees. He knows what it takes to beat certain coverages & when he knows he can't do it physically, it plays with your mind. You become skittish & nervous in the pocket. You make poor decisions & inaccurate throws.
how long did you play in the NFL ?
