Not sincere Saints fans. Brees is also my #1

I think Cam or Ben Watson (or both) is my #2

Beyond that maybe it's kind of a tie with several players Deuce, Pierre Thomas, the entire Dome patrol with Ricky Jackson foremost, Archie, Morten Anderson, and probably a lot of others. It's just hard for me to pick a favorite without either recency bias or nostalgia kicking in.

If he isn't top 5, he's close. He is a hall of famer, who will probably have played his whole career here. Just an outstanding Saint. Not ahead of Rickey or Brees, but is he on same level as Sam Mills? Roaf?

I've got him at 3 right behind Ricky.

Dammit I thought he was top 5 for sure then you got me remembering. Deuce, Drew, Ricky are lock top 3 Morten, SP, Cam, Jahri have to fight it out for last Mt Rushmore spot. Pierre, Colston, Eric Martin, Devery, Sam Mills aren’t far behind. Just too many and I didn’t even get to see the Archie era.

He’s the 2nd best Saint I’ve see in my lifetime. I was too young for Rickey Jackson and only remember the last couple years of Willie Roaf. In terms of players I saw every snap of and can remember:

1. Brees
2. Jordan
3. Evans
4. Kamara
5. Colston
6. Lattimore
7. Davis
8. Graham
9. Greer
10. Vilma

Michael Thomas is right there, but the last 3 seasons are a black mark, still time though. Pierre Thomas is probably my 2nd favorite behind Drew.

I've been a fan since the early 70s those guys back in the 70s & 80s who were really good stood out like a sore thumb.

I don’t have to love or even like him as a person to recognize his on the field contributions. We don’t even sniff a Super Bowl without him. All signs pointed to him being an individual of high character until Malcolm Jenkins and MT turned on him.

Y’all use this word way too much, in situations where it doesn’t even make sense

I only rate two guys above him: Drew Brees and Ricky Jackson. He has been an outstanding player for the Saints and seems to be a good man. I hope he finishes his career here.

Yeah, I think he finishes here for sure. There were a lot of good players mentioned in this thread too.

Cam has been a great player for us. We always worry about injuries, but dude missed one game right? And not even injury related.

He’s also a funny character. All the things you want from a player.

“Probably” LOL

I hate to break it to you but Drew is by far the greatest player that has ever played for the saints and it’s not close…

his self cucking during that period of time was nothing short of despicable.

Actually he put his own feelings dead last to do what he thought was necessary to keep his team united. Team first, him second. And for that the mouth breathing fans continue to bash him to this day for muh not boson’ down to da kneelers!

but as far as longevity, loyalty, and production, no one, defensively, beats Cam Jordan... he's given everything he has, year in and year out, to the black and gold, and will retire as our greatest defensive player ever

Brees is #1. Cam is top 5. Probably #2 as long as he finishes his career here. The rest of the top 5 is likely Rickey, Roaf, Colston or Deuce or The Great Dane.

Cam Jordan has visited a local school EVERY Tuesday during the season for his entire career. Man of character.

It's too hard for me to rank Cam as an overall Saints player. I feel he would be further down the list than I'd want to see him in terms of all positions.

But strictly Dlinemen he's #1 for sure.

1) Cam Jordan
2) Wayne Martin
3) Will Smith
4) Charles Grant
5) Frank Warren

Would be my top five
