Would love to get him. But how do you get a sense of innocence at this late point. Its crazy. Do you roll the bones if he's there with that 2nd of third round picks?

Man I don't know, but I'm sure glad I don't have to make that decision.

Same here. An O-line consisting of Armstead, Collins, Unger, and Peat would be GREAT for years to come, but if dude ends up in jail the team ends up looking like a bunch of fools.

If he is still there in the 3rd round I would pick him with the first of the two picks. They guy was LSU's best OL last year and we ran the ball behind him the most. Would be the best 4th overall pick for the saints.

Saints OL would be awesome next year with the two new additions. Drew had a lot of issues with protection last year so we need to make the investment for protection. Couple the two offensive line picks with a later round receiver and we are set offensively for the 2015 season.

The only aspect that makes me not want him is the fact that the NFC has all studs at RB and we may need quality interior DL/DE picks to compete in the NFC.

So no.

And don't you people start with that "not a suspect" bullshite

I still think you take the chance. How hard would it be to send someone to br to find out whats going on? Plenty of guys we have drafted that really didnt amount to anything, i think the reward out weighs the risk with this one. If he is guilty, would you or anyone stop watching the saints or even LSU for that matter? I highly doubt UF and Patriots lost fans because of hernandez.

I would take the gamble, Pick him with our last pick on Friday. Can you imagine our OL with Collins and Peat? If it doesn't work out, so what? Lord knows it would not be our first wasted draft choice.

Saints getting an innocent la'elmake in third could make up for missed 2nd round taken away a few years ago because wouldn't that be getting a first round grade in 3rd round

If he isn't guilty of killing the ex, why would the baby's death (while tragic) make or break his particular situation.

It not only reenforces the gravity of the situation, it just made it even worse. It's like seeing the Ray Rice video vs just hearing he knocked her out

Umm no

If he is guilty it ruins his NFL career even if the baby had lived.

I think the Saints should take him in the third. Its worth a shot

Use our very last pick on him if he's still available. It's not like any other player in that spot was likely to make the roster anyways.

ummmm yeah.

The guilt is not the issue. The impression of the teams is. This now hits emotions much stronger than before. That's just human nature.

3rd round piayers are expected to play. Collins may not even play if he's selected. That's why he's not getting pick.
