Honest Assessment of today's game

New offensive scheme looks good under Kubiak. Yes, it was against Carolina who was a top 5 defense last year. So, take that for what it's worth. Also, Carr going 19/23 is impressive. 3 TD & no INT. Great ratio
I like how we're mixing up Kamara, Olave, Shaheed, Hill with screens and trickery. Shaheed's speed is making it really tough for opposing defenses. I truly think Kamara's head is in the game and not worried about contract disputes like he mentioned until after the season. Prove your worth, right?
Defense looks good. Young is getting good pressure and the blitz packages are time really well. Taylor is all over the field and if Lattimore can stay healthy........well, yeah. Defense is getting enough push up front to force Young out of the pocket on a lot of plays. DD still looks great at LB despite his age.
Grupe 4 for 4 and all from 40+ yards out.....I'll take that every game.
Still worried about Penning, but Fuaga seems to be holding his own.
Running game opened up beautifully today. I honestly believe that if we run for over 100+ yards a game, we win. Keep feeding Kamara and Williams.
All this being said, tomorrow is a different week, a different team and a fresh 4 quarters for both teams. Let's not get big head syndrome and casually walk into next week's game unprepared.

We didn't play down to the level of our opponent. That in itself is a big deal.

THIS. This is a big point. We are so used to playing down to poorer teams and all out crazy good when we play tough opponents. This week they played their own game and did well. Nice change of scenery.

On another good note, Atlanta lost. Cousins has had a rough go of it today. Only 155 yards passing and 2 INT.
Good divisional win today. Hopefully Tampa will lose to Washington later

we looked great today... we beat a team we were supposed to beat, but we did a lot better than expected... happy for the team, the fans, everyone...
but i'll wait til we play a team with a pulse before i decide whether to get excited about this team or not

Screw that. It’s hookers and blow for me until next Sunday. Hell…it’ll be hookers and blow THROUGH next Sunday.
And it won’t make a bit of difference.

Payton Turner still sucks
He will sign with the Eagles and have 4 sacks his first game.

That’s probably inflated… when you’re down big, teams run the ball, limit the plays in the game, and don’t try to pour it on… also you probably have a bad turnover margin which means short fields.
But yeah, it means nothing if we lose next week

Saints will go undefeated. Payton and the 72 Dolphins will be crying in their champagne glasses.

Carolina may not win a game with Young at QB. He doesnt have an NFL arm past about 15 yards.
Carr went to his third receiver a couple of times today and he attempted to look defenders off a few times. Never saw that last season.
