in the history of organized louisiana sports amatuer or pro. Its not even close. New Orleans Saints just continue to be losers every season as a whole.

I remember living in NOLA before the Brees/Payton Era, the Saints were so pathetically bad for so many years that people around town would actually deny being Saints fans. Anybody who admitted to being a Saints fan got laughed at as some kind of masochistic moron who likes to waste time watching that garbage product.

shite, you couldn't GIVE your tickets away. Nobody wanted to go to the game!

Sad ole days.

just imagine if Katrina didnt hit lousiana. The rigged nfl doesnt come in and hand pick 30 players to go to the saints to bring revenue back to new orleans and ultimately a super bowl.

1967-85 was horrible. Haven’t been anywhere near the worst franchise from 86- present and one of the best over the last 15 years

Let me also invite the Cleveland Browns to the discussion....and possibly the Jets who have not done shite since Namath was wearing a fur coat on the sidelines.

You must be under 45 yrs old if you believe this is the Saints worst team ever. The first 20yrs of this teams
existence made this yr look like a superbowl team.John Mecom
was the worst owner there was.
The offensive play calling might be as bad as it has been
since Mike Ditkas teams but the worst no.

You must have me confused with another poster. I can remember going to games in Tulane stadium. This is nowhere as bad as that.....or the end of Ditka where some of the coaches would not show up to practice at the end of the last season.

They won a Super Bowl, cheated out of one, came close to one in 2006 in Chicago, and screwed themselves out of one in 2011...

You should calm down, after a loss, before making stupid threads..

The NFL paid to have Katrina towed from Africa to Louisiana.

The 83 Saints lost on a last second FG to miss the playoffs and finish 8-8. The defense was one of the NFL's best led by City Champ, a coked up Dirt Winston and Whitney Paul. Hardly a bad team.
