All of that is usually worked out beforehand. Also would expect an in house GM

That would be dumb.

Not necessarily. I don't really trust Gayle to make the right hire anyway.

Why would any new GM worth his salt come here and not be able to make his own hire as head coach?

Because there are only 32 opportunities for this job. The last/current GM has had job security for 2 decades. You’d also have an out that the last guy picked the head coach.

Why would anyone say no?

Considering who the owner is and lack of football and corporate experience? No. Not at all.
For us fans yes of course.I would love a different outcome and hope she proves me wrong

Probably an in house promotion with Drew getting some kind of role to galvanize the fans.

If you are gona call people morons perhaps you should get some facts straight.

He does not have any ownership in the team. He is an executor of Gayles will though.

Even if he did, Gayle could still fire him but he still keeps his share in the organization.

If he’s relieved of his GM duties, I’d expect him to be given some type of executive position in the organization. He’s too engrained to be dismissed entirely.

I think if we are 1-6 after Paris he’ll resign and be “promoted” to another position in the organization
