GW did a suburb job, he should never ever use prevent defense again though.

Without greg williams defense our arse would have gotten blown out. THe five turnover did not help us at all , the only thing I noticed that seem to affect the game was when he lost the aggressiveness when time was almost running out and start to use the prevent defense.
We should have kept attack Alex smith, but oh well. Next year!

he fricking was too aggressive at the end. alex smith wasnt gonna do shite agaunst a 4 man rush. he wasnt doing anything the whole game

You can't put this on Williams. He coached the way he coaches.
Smith made plays, Davis made plays. Jenkins didn't.
As a coach, you put your playmakers in position to win the play....Jenkins just lost some really really big ones.

Williams lost the game for the Saints as much as Harbaugh won it for San Fran.
Jenkins just got outplayed by Davis. There is no excuse for him to not be able to cover Davis...This isn't Shanle, it's not Harper. This is the match up we want in those situations and Davis and Smith just made plays.

Defense did a superb job keeping this game close after Brees and the offense gave the game away. You can't win if you can't run. The team that wins the turnover battle generally wins the game.

agreed. our deep zones forced him to throw it underneath. why did we bail from that? bad part is they prolly kick a FG and this is decided in OT. shoulda never let them make that second drive regardless especially after the first where they answered our TD to sproles. after the TD to graham that should have been it. D played well all game then collapsed at the end.
