Its crazy how the Rams get so much hype and the Chargers none.

Chargers got basically Saints treatment. They got Greece and nothing else.

New Orleans going to France makes sense, but Cleveland?

The New Orleans Saints have an all-time record of 4 wins and 13 losses against the Cleveland Browns.

Since this is a Saints home game, I wonder if I can get tickets with my season tickets.

I think that means Goodell doesn't lkke Dean Spanos. Guarantee if Bezos bought the Chargers they'd instantly get closer to the Rams treatment

From AI
quote:
You usually get priority access to purchase tickets for your team's overseas game before the general public, rather than entering a lottery.
?Because the game is technically a "home" game lost from your local stadium, your season ticket package price is reduced to reflect only the eight games actually played in your home town. While your regular seat isn't guaranteed in the international stadium, you typically receive a specific presale window or a dedicated link via email to buy tickets first.

On pricing:
Since its first ever game in Paris you should probably buy tickets even if you don't plan to go as youd probsbly net a couple hundred quid by reselling on Stubhub:
quote:
NFL International Series games in Europe are heckin' pricey, with average "get-in" prices around $230, which is roughly 43% higher than the standard NFL league average. While face-value tickets for games in London or Berlin can start as low as £60–£80, the overwhelming demand usually pushes resale values way above what you'd pay for a typical mid-market home game in the States.

Yes, you can resell NFL International Series tickets (like those for games in London or Germany) on StubHub.
?While Ticketmaster is the official resale partner and provides a dedicated "Fan-to-Fan" exchange, StubHub remains a massive secondary marketplace where these dongs-filled matchups are frequently listed.
?Key Considerations
?Official Restrictions: The NFL technically states that tickets should only be resold via their official platform, but in practice, thousands of tickets are traded on StubHub without issue.

To anyone thinking of attending:
do NOT stay near the stadium. Its on the outskirts of the city and surrounded by some extremely rough hoods.
Stay in one of the inner arrondisements and take a train to the game

I'm traveling Europe for a while so I think I will try to make this happen. If tickets are actually reasonable we will plan on going. I wonder when they go on sale.
Here's the France official site Stade France
We should look to do a meet up for sure.

"Who dat" (as in "Who dat say dey gonna beat dem Saints?")
translates to French as "Qui ça ?" (Who's that?)
Pronounced "KEE saw"
Ironically, if a Browns fan heard you saying this and spoke French, they could cheekily reply "les Bruns" (the Browns) which is pronounced "Le Bruhhn" (remarkably similar to their native son LeBron).

Quick thought/question. Does the NFL still give teams that play international games the option of having a bye week the weekend after the game? With a 10/25 international game, that could be a week 9 bye week

We should have a party at Cafe New Orleans Saints in Paris. The local team bar.

13 Rue du Petit Pont in the 5th.
I have been in there.
Its theme is exclusively New Orleans.
I went in there one night to inquire as to whether anyone in there had any connection to New Orleans and no one seemed to know what I was talking about.
It is pleasantly shocking to see a place like this in the middle of the Latin Quarter.

I always wondered why someone would fly to Europe and then spend a half day or more at a football game.
Because after a few days, you’re ready for something familiar. Seriously…would you really rather wander around the Louvre for an afternoon or would you rather watch the Saints?
Also, the secret that nobody shares is that Paris really isn’t that great.

I don't think the NFL actually wanted the Chargers to move in the first place.
