He could be a good fit if New Orleans is still interested. Spotrac projects Walker could get $8.3 million per year on a new deal as a free agent, while Pro Football Focus suggests nearly twice that at $15 million per year. The true answer may lie somewhere in the middle. If the Saints aren't willing to pay Davis the $9 million or so that linebackers in their late thirties have been paid as of late, it's tough to see them going into the double digits for his replacement.
Interesting, but terrible train of thought. Because the Saints won't pay $9M a year for a LBer in his late 30s, they may not pay that $12-15M for a proven LBer 10 years younger?

I thought he would go for a reasonable amount for a WR2. If he gets WR1 money that's shocking, but that's the NFL

As much as I like Kenneth Walker, I am not paying him 13M/yr

At least we got that. Still waiting for Unibrow.
On a side note, does suck we didn’t re-sign any of the secondary guys we developed the past few years. Thought we’d resign him after letting Adebo walk last year.

How can he know he's signing somewhere else if he's not allowed to talk to other teams???

The Polk hate is crazy. He has 1 season, only 31 targets of production, and was a 2nd rd pick.
The people knighting for Polk are just as crazy lol (especially the local media). Vrabel is an EXTREMELY smart HC that did a good job adding pieces to that roster.
You know what else he did? He shipped Polk’s arse out of NE for a song. Could Polk improve, absolutely……but I had seen some tape of him and it looks like he has problem with separation. Maybe being around Chris will help become a better route runner (anything is possible), but you damn sure can’t count on anything from him.
