Maybe you should study up on your team's offseason moves. Cincy signed Irv Smith Jr. in the offseason

Irv stats: 3 years, 30 receptions per year, 286 yards per year, 3 TDs per year
Foster stats: 4 years, 23 receptions per year, 277 yards per year, 3 TDs per year

I’ll actually address this. If you look through my history of posts. I’m actually a Mississippi State grad that grew up in Louisiana.

I started disliking Mississippi State when they hired Morehead, which coincided with the 2018 season where LSU picked up Burrow. I’ve been a Burrow fan since game 1 due to his intangibles.

In terms of the other LSU players, I like some of them and I dislike others. I was the heaviest critic of Stingley Jr probably on the entire site for 1-2 years. I called him borderline undraftable. What did he do in his first season of the NFL? He got injured and mysteriously disappeared the rest of the season, just like he often did at LSU.

The one team I truly hate is Alabama. Yet, I have probably been the biggest proponent of Bryce Young on this site.

I say all of this to paint an overall picture. I’m not a homer. I like good players, with good intangibles, no matter their educational affiliation.

I still like the Saints. I just think Moreau fits better on the Bengals given their TE depth chart. Going there also gives him a chance to win it all. Coming here, gives him a chance to win the NFC South for 1-2 years until Bryce Young hits his stride.

Irv Smith Jr is talented, but often injured.

Their 2nd tight end is literally Mitchell Wilcox, who is best known for blowing 2 snaps in the season opener last year (emergency long snapper)

The Saints have Juwan Johnson already who scored 7-8 tds last year. We also have Taysom Hill who chips in at that position. We simply don’t need Moreau as much as the Bengals.

Who gives a frick what they need?

You think the Eagles need D'Andre Swift? Hell no, but he makes their team better so they traded for him.

You aren't a Saints fan if this is your line of thinking. Get the frick out.

There is an LSU board if you want to swoon over former LSU players.

Going into the draft, TE was a need for the Saints with Johnson, Trautman and Hill.

We traded Trautman during the draft.

If Moreau can play this year, sign him.

I presumed this thread was going to be about the feelz that would ensue from the Saints offering him to get him health care coverage, even if he didn't play for months.

But TD never disappoints.

That little man will be broken in half before he ever sees the end of season 2.

I’m a Saints fan. My bad for pointing out that an AFC team has a bigger need for a tight end than we do.

It’s not like I was saying he should consider joining the Falcons, Bucs, or Panthers

I'm as huge of an LSU and Joe Burrow fan as there is and this is honestly pathetic.

it's amazing to me the medical staff can find fricking cancer in a player, but can't keep our player's healthy enough to not miss significant time during the season...
