and this is why coaches don't take PFF seriously.

Dalton isn't bad. he's not great. he's steady, which is fine...however teams dared him sometimes and we came up short. he isn't aggressive enough at times.

-Eno Benjamin - 72.2 (35/64 RB)
-David Johnson - 51.3

AK needs help, I think to optimize him, we need a bruiser. Ingram, Washington, Benjamin, Johnson are not answers. Latavius Murray leaving hurts...I think we win 2 more games with him (carolina + TB).

-Chris Olave - 82.5 (14/123 WR)
-Michael Thomas - 77.3
-Jarvis Landry - 67.3 (64/123 WR)

-Marquez Callaway - 59.7 (105/123 WR)

-Deonte Harty - 47.9
-Kirk Merritt - 55.0
-Keith Kirkwood - 54.5
-Kevin White - 54.4

Olave, Shaheed will make this offseason at least bearable. We need a big receiver andd a slot guy. Calloway, Landry, Thomas, Smith are not going to be the solution.

Goodbye to Deonte Hardy too.

quote:

-Taysom Hill - 75.6 (6/75 TE)
-Juwan Johnson - 64.7 (30/75 TE)
-Adam Trautman - 66.7 (21/75 TE)
-J.P. Holtz - 34.9
-Lucas Krull - 40.6

Underrated group IMHO. Johnson + Trautman combined are a solid duo. solid blockers. solid receivers, I know people are down but I am actually VERY happy with this group all things considered.

quote:

-James Hurst - 63.2 (56/81 OT)
-Andrus Peat - 50.6 (67/78 OG)
-Erik McCoy - 61.2 (25/40 OC)
-Cesar Ruiz - 56.6 (59/78 OG)
-Ryan Ramczyk - 77.9 (13/81 OT)

-Trevor Penning - 73.6
-Calvin Throckmorton - 38.4 (76/78 OG)
-Landon Young - 40.3
-Lewis Kidd - 29.6
-Josh Andrews - 51.6 (36/40 OC)
-Yasir Durant - 60.0

1. Need to be healthy
2. Penning needs to come on strong
3. We need to draft a guard to groom.

quote:

-Wil Lutz - 70.4
-Blake Gillikin - 69.7 (15/34 P)
-Zach Wood - N/A

Lutz needs competition and i'm okay with him being cut if we can find someone.

quote:

-David Onyemata - 64.0 (48/126 DI)
-Shy Tuttle - 60.3 (62/126 DI)
-Kentavius Street - 49.2 (100/126 DI)
-Malcom Roach - 47.8 (105/126 DI)
-Prince Emili - 70.3

Need a young high potential player because our DT generated MINIMUM push. affected our DE and secondary...

quote:

-Cam Jordan - 74.5 (32/119 ED)
-Marcus Davenport - 76.8 (27/119 ED)
-Payton Turner - 69.6
-Carl Granderson - 80.4 (23/119 ED)
-Tanoh Kpassagnon - 54.5 (102/119 ED)

I think paying Davenport >12mil/yr is foolish.

I also think a rotation of Jordan-Davenport-Granderson-Turner[or a new young blood] with a revamped DT would help them all.

quote:

-Demario Davis - 82.7 (5/84 LB)
-Pete Werner - 64.7 (39/84 LB)
-Kaden Elliss - 81.5 (6/84 LB)
-Zack Baun - 50.4
-Andrew Dowell - 71.2
-Chase Hansen - 45.3

Davis - still elite
Elliss - came on strong as a pass rusher, but coverage and run defense needs work
Werner - underrated, he was solid all year.

quote:

-Marshon Lattimore - 64.7 (56/122 CB)
-Paulson Adebo - 49.1 (115/122 CB)
-Bradley Roby - 45.4 (118/122 CB)
-Alontae Taylor - 54.5 (105/122 CB)
-Chris Harris Jr. - 50.1 (113/122 CB)

Health...need health. But the DL and S did them 0 favors

quote:

-Tyrann Mathieu - 81.2 (5/89 S)
-Marcus Maye - 71.8 (26/89 S)
-P.J. Williams - 64.0 (55/89 S)
-Justin Evans - 61.0 (66/89 S)
-J.T. Gray - 72.4
-Daniel Sorensen - 64.3

Disagree. TM sucked arse.
Maye was solid, but see why NYJ let him walk...injury prone.

I never want to see Sorensen, Gray, Evans back there

Safe to say Gillikin was crowned too early. He regressed in 2022. Hopefully bounces back next season.

Offensive line was bad this yr.

Need to upgrade there if they want to have a running game again.

Biggest takeaways were shaheed and
Ellis being real players.

Both are nice building blocks.

Absolutely have to upgrade on both lines.

Granderson's contract will be very interesting.

Injuries

-Peat a given
-McCoy being out for a few games was the biggest hit.
-Penning missed most of the season
-Ram didn't play bad but probably played not 100% healthy.

Enough offensive firepower available as long as we have someone to run the show... Defense should be solid.

We’ve spent a 1st/2nd rounder on an OLineman I think 6 of the last 8 years. Such a shame.

Anyone who watches the Saints knows these ratings are often non-sensical.

This is why I hate PFF. Did we not watch the same games? Alontae was leagues above Adebo and Roby and yet he is only slightly higher rated?

Was Adebo truly that bad?
