Do you think the percentage of thos in the service who oppose the protests is lower than the general population? That's an absurd suggestion, IMO. Is that what you are trying to say?

...then why is the flag draped on every coffin of every service person who dies? That flag is then given to the family. It will become an heirloom and will be in a glass/wood case. The flag is a sacred symbol of the unity of our country, and it is near to the heart of every patriotic American. It represents the blood shed by those who have fought in wars to protect our Constitution with their blood.
A person who chooses to protest during the national anthem DOES disrespect our country, anthem, flag, thus they are being disrespectful to the dead who shed their blood while fighting to protect our Constitution, and that disrespectful act WILL anger real American patriots.

Well stated! How many Saints players were taking a knee and/or sitting prior to this past weekend? I don't remember any, but I could be wrong. How many teams in past weeks did not come out for the national anthem? Last week's display of solidarity by the NFL was ALL in response to DT's comments/tweets....nothing more, nothing less. Many teams have already stated they will be standing this week....of crs DT will claim 'he fixed it'. Comical! Hold it together POTUS and focus on the issues that impact my, and millions like me, dinner table - taxes, jobs, debt, health care, national defense, education, etc. Thx!
