As OC or HC
I'd take a flyer on him as an OC pete Carmichael is done. So the Saints will be in the market.
The real issue is They will go after Payton and have no cheap assets or 1st rounder available?

WTF is McDaniel doing?
Rookie head coach who will have a better year than any season Allen has had so far, who like I said, you pumped for last offseason.
Also he’s playing in a division way tougher than the shite show we play in. Get a clue.

he learned under Kyle Shanahan, and he doesn't run the ball worth a crap though man.
Mostert has averaged 4.8 ypc.
Wilson has also averaged over 4 ypc.
They just don’t have a ton of RB depth. I think if anything they funnel to Tyreek and waddle too much but I think most teams would probably do that if they had the best WR duo in the nfl. I feel like MM probably adapts his offense a bit to his personnel which isn’t a bad thing.
I’d feel infinitely better about his ability to grow as a coach than DA.

How would y’all feel about potentially hiring McDaniel?
We’ve already got a problem bum, why would we want Miami’s bum???

I might actually start watching the Taints if they hired McDaniels.

I would love McDaniels at the saints though
Every time he opens his mouth he's a liability. If he could focus less on being cool/edgy it wouldn't be a problem. If you could keep cameras and microphones away from him it would be fine.

I hear you but they are also dead last in rushing attempts in the league despite gaining 4.3 YPC which isn't terrible.
They average 95.3 yards a game as team with only 6 teams behind them in that category.
It could be that McDaniel was taking orders from upstairs to showcase Tua so you can't fault him if that's the case.
But I just don't understand the lack of commitment to a running game when your QB has already suffered multiple concussions before getting his latest vs. Green Bay.
Something isn't right there hence he may get fired.
Might not be on him.
very interested to see how this unfolds.

which is even more confusing to me.
and they are running low on QB depth also currently.

that's fair.
I've seen them play a few times and just wondered what the hell was going on. I mean they definitely made big splashes off the high dive throwing the ball but that has come to a halt down the stretch.
Their owner is a real piece of work so probably some behind the scenes schtick going on.

Can you fire a black HC in their first season when the league takes so much flack for the lack of minority hires?
The media has reminded us several times that he is black.

They have said that they may be in play for Brady. So if Brady is on deck why not Payton.
Brady has two kids in Miami and it is a quick flight to NY.

Arizona did it so Kingsbury could fail up. But, they at least have the cover that Wilks only had 2 or 3 wins

Makes you wonder why they didn't try and help him out after he had those first two concussions.
Run the ball more and still take your shots and hit chunk plays passing.

Dennis Allen HC Midget McDaniel OC Jimmy Gorgeous QB
I might be losing my fricking mind, but I wouldn’t hate this. If we’re stuck with Allen next year, we need to turn the offense over to an aggressive, innovative, energetic guy like McDaniel. Jimmy G is an upgrade to our current QB situation. It could work well enough to win the division.
