Does the offense get better going forward if T. Hill is out?

If T. Hill misses any significant time, does the offense get better? Not having to switch QB’s during drives should increase our efficiency on offense. Jameis knows he’s not coming out if Hill is not available.

we dont play for 2 weeks, he will be fine by then, hell he would have been ok to play if they had a game next week.

but i agree with the thought that if payton can be kept from his awful timing to kill drives with stupid gadget plays, it is very frustrating because it rarely works any more

Hill was open for a potential touchdown if Jameis doesn’t throw that pic in the first.

Hopefully Payton learned his lesson. Taysom is a big positive for the offense as a TE/HB and QB in short yardage/red zone.

This is a dumb question. As much as some people like to get mad when Taysom is in there, he’s extremely helpful in short yardage situations. He’s by far our best option in those short yardage situations.

Taysom should be our starting TE for the rest of the year.

He would have put that game on Ice running if he wasnt out. That hit was dirty AF IMO. Dude should be fined at minimum

Hill is a weapon and you’re a dummy

Hill was targeted. No if, ands or buts.

Have you not followed this team before. Payton doesn’t learn from mistakes, he doubles/triples/quadruples down until it finally works. Then you get an arrogant response and he finally stops doing it

Edit: admittedly my favorite example is the stupid arse TE end around in short yardage situations

WFT and especially their coach look to knockout players and QB's.

frickers put Burrow on the shelf last year.

The NFL should stat teams that knockout players above the average.

During the bountygate period, the Saints injured the least amount of players, statistically, and were themselves, the most injured team by opponents.

The Saints were the least penalized team for personal fouls during the bountygate period, as well.

Absolutely not. If anything, he is a great distraction regardless if involved in play or not.

I think the way you correct this is go where it hurts. Fines for players should be a percentage of game checks. I don't know if that number starts at 5%/10%... or what, but these few thousand here and there don't mean much when the guys are getting a $100k per check.

Since the players are protected by the union, you will be limited on how much you can go after them and you cannot take more than a check if they are playing (need to earn at least a minimum amount)

However, you can then go after the teams. If a player is injured in a game and has to leave the game (and miss multiple games); then the league should look into whether or not it was a dirty/unnecessary play. If it is, then the offending team should be responsible for the injured players game checks until they can return (salary cap rules apply). You will start seeing teams/coaches being held responsible for these types of hits.

It is drastic, but unless you take drastic measures there are no real incentives to coach it out of the players.

Any idiot could see Jameis leg buckle on the throw and that’s why it was short.
Only a Taysom for QB would miss that little pearl of info.

Can't imagine losing playmakers as a huge positive right now.

Losing T. Hill is not a good thing. He’s what, the third fastest on the team?
