"...Midway through the game yesterday, Bruce Arians and the offensive staff told Antonio Brown to go into the game. They believed he was healthy," Rapoport said. "Antonio Brown did not believe he was healthy. He had been battling an ankle injury for the last several weeks. He did not practice Thursday, did not practice Friday, and I know personally had some doubts whether or not he would be able to be out there and play.

"What he told the staff, from what I understand, is he was not going into the game because in his mind he did not feel he was healthy. The response then from the offensive coaches and from Bruce Arians was if you are not going to go into the game when we tell you to go into the game then you cannot be here. At that point, they threw him off the sidelines and then cut him from the team...."

Seems this might turn on Arians, but it is AB, so no one might give a crap

AB has mental issues not physical injuries

stop being a karen and making excuses for a millionaire crybaby

they asked him to go out there to be a decoy, not run 100 yards down field. if he goes out there he demands double coverage to open up other receivers or screen passes.

he didnt like that he wasnt getting treated as special as he thought he should be and so he got his feels hurt. thats all that happened so stop inventing BS excuses to not blame his issues on him

Wow, I didn't realize I was taking up for AB. But I will some now since you hate it so bad... AB didn't practice Thursday or Friday bc of his ankle that's been an issue for a month or so. TB staff must have thought the ankle was bad enough to sit out practice. AB was squarely in sight of getting a million dollar bonus, so it made all the sense in the world for him to play.

Thursday night games and adding an extra game without increasing roster size tells me they do not give a shite about player safety. It's all about maximizing ratings.

If they wanted the Thursday night games and extra week, the simple solution would be to give every team 2 bye weeks. Skip Thurs night games in weeks 2-5, and 16-17. Only have teams playing in Thurs night games after coming off of 1 of their bye weeks.

I know "player safety" is a sham, but it's one the nfl likes to say they care about. Bc of the sham, I can see this being problematic for Arians esp considering AB had missed 2 days practice leading up to the game for the ankle that's been an issue a while. Now I don't think anything will happen unless the players association backs AB, which is iffy bc AB is a moron

Yeah, I've never played in the nfl, so I could be wrong, but I'd think it's a little tougher to play on the field with nfl athletes than jogging off that field acting like a DA

Did AB visit the medical tent during the game? How was he being used before this incident?

The way he was going when he left the game, didn't seem like he was hobbling on a hurt ankle...

He is , and has been , a highly skilled player. That being said, he's also a loser .He just showed his true colors yesterday , & here's hoping him & Kap end up on the same team.

Yea im not really sure to believe or sympathize with but im leaning toward no one.

Arians played the AB game and it finally bit him in the arse. Tough shite

AB could have mental issues and he could also just be a dick. I have all the sympathy for someone who has said issues and is at least attempting to fix them.

If AB is not actively looking for help and or turned down help why should i give a damn about his issues if he doesnt?

When Britney Taylor told AB she didn't want to have sex with him he forced her to, but he complains when his coach forces him to do his job?

If he did that, he's a total creep. What does that say about the ones that put him on the team after that incident?

Probably has alot to do with what Brady wants, he don't care how he wins or who he wins with. He would throw the ball to Jeffery Dahmer if he knew he could help him win another title

that was precautionary rest so he could play in the game when needed

the video showing him jumping up and down, dancing and prancing around, shows he wasnt too hurt to play and he wasnt even limping at all at any point before his attention seeking charade

but you need a fake narrative to excuse his insanity
