I heard it was because he needed a few more statistics in a few categories to get his bonuses. From what I’ve heard they weren’t giving him the opportunity to achieve these incentives therefore he quit.

Maybe not, but the bucs were the source

"...As noted in a tweet by Spotrac, Brown had needed eight more catches to unlock a $333,333 contract bonus, 55 more receiving yards to unlock another $333,333 bonus, and only one more receiving touchdown to unlock one more $333,333 bonus. All three bonuses would have amounted to $1 million..."

Arians wanted him to go back in there, and AB had 3 catches 27 yards already. Just doesn't make sense he didn't wanna go back in vs the jets with panthers next week. This is an idiot though...

He's already proven he's willing to light his money on fire with how the Raiders situation went down. The guy is a loon, not sure how anyone can try to defend him at this point.

AB's driver said on PMT today that he appeared to be upset about not getting touches.

They won the Super Bowl and are now division champs. What more could another coach do??

AB and BA are both jackasses. Fake Covid card should have been the end. They let him slide, he felt empowered cuz of injuries to Godwin and Evans and the jackass version of AB came out in all its glory. Funny shite. People like to call Drew a cuck and all but the cuckery that Brady displayed post game makes me wonder if he'd be cool with AB tapping his wife. Wasn't he already living with them?

AB had 5 targets, with 3 catches for 26 yards. At the point he showed his arse, only Gronkowski had more targets.
I guess we gonna overlook the fact the Bucs were trying to come from behind and win the damn game. That means the ball goes to the open guy, not just the guy that wants to get an incentive bonus.
I actually like AB and his antics but I don't justify any of it. The shyt is comical and entertaining. But as I said, there's no justification for his behavior. He definitely has mental health issues.

He was limited in practice wednesday, and got an ankle injury. He didnt practice thursday or friday. That usually means the guy doesnt play on sunday. But he did. Sounds like he didnt think he was healthy enough, and was mad that the Bucs were trying to force him to play.

Antonio Brown still with Bucs despite assertions to the contrary
"Antonio Brown is still on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as of Monday night despite coach Bruce Arians telling reporters after the wide receiver’s meltdown that he is "no longer a Buc."
Arians was asked earlier Monday during his media availability about the logistics of cutting Brown, and he appeared to pass the buck to the front office.
That's up to [general manager Jason Licht] and what he wants to do," Arians said when asked about how the Buccaneers will move on from Brown...."

Haha, AB might stay on the team

Doubt it. They are prob trying to figure out dollars they owe him before the cut

For anyone who has dealt with multiple ankle injuries, one may rightly assert and argue that Antonio Brown did not move and run off the field of play in any manner that would signal an injury or suggest favoring one of his ankles. I suspect it more likely that Brown was upset with how often he had been targeted up to that point in the game. In other words, Gronk was getting more opportunities.

There’s no reason to cut him which would allow him to sign with another playoff team and bite them in the arse potentially

I hope so. I look at the NFL simply as what it is, entertainment. AB was definitely funny as hell yesterday.
That excerpt tells me that Arians want AB gone but Brady and the front office care more about winning and feel they need AB. Arians probably will be gone soon. LOL
Now they saying his ankle was hurt. He could've lined up and just half-assed it. So that's still not an excuse.

His ankle was hurt before sunday. Its not hard to find the injury reports each day

AB has pulled so much BS that he no longer has credibility in the court of public opinion. That’s the consequence of being a diva.
Posted on 1/4/22 at 7:32 am to msstate7
No, only the appearance of safety.

This is possible, but I have to believe there is more to it than that. Hell, they were trying to get him back in the game which could help him achieve those stats.
IN regards to whether it's a mental health issue or because he's an a-hole; it very well could just be both. There are stories where he was pulling this type of shite early in his career (first 2-3 years); then that his from Burfict happened and it appears his "antics" have gone to another level

I think some people are just born winners, and all they do is win.Others are born losers , but with the right motivation , the right pastors , the right coaches , the right whatevers they overcome the DICK label , as well as the loser label. Others are born w/no athletic skills , and they will struggle to lead a productive life (see drugs & lack of chances) .Then you have the losers like AB , w/no sense of team obligation. They are the ME generation ,w/everything expected to be handed to them. Anytime something doesn't go their way ,You get an exhibtion like the one from AB. He is the epitome of one sorry arse loser.

If he did that
LSU gymnastics alum. I'm going to go ahead and believe her. AB settled out of court, but them texted a bunch of threats back to his accuser. NFL investigation found him guilty and suspended him rest of 2019, Pats subsequently cut him and no one wanted anything to do with him.

What does that say about the ones that put him on the team after that incident?
Until Tom Brady moved to TB in 2020....
