realistically he doesn't need to be some 210lbs.

Yeah I agree. Thanks for that post, those are some solid comparisons. I mean the guy looks good to go now where he is at. I imagine as he transitions into the NFL that he'll only get stronger. Wouldn't want him tacking on eddie lacy level mass though, lol.

If he was coming out of an SEC team, where do you think he would have been drafted? 3rd or 4th? The guys tape is just unreal, but his biggest knock was playing against mediocre/shite teams.

Expect Ingram to test the FA market. At his age Saints won't pay him what he wants so it's a good chance we lose him next year.

Any word on Jonathan Williams?
Supposed to be very talented if healthy.

is very strong in his lower body
Upper body too. He can bench well over 400lbs. He's actually quite an athletic phenom. I just hope he can adjust to the competition.

TFWIW

One of the stars yesterday besides Thomas besting Lattimore head to head. Was a wheel route pass from Hill to Scott that reporters said would have been a 50 to 60 yard TD pass.

In addition Sean has said nothing but positive things about Scott in his pressers including that Scott is an effective runner between the tackles.

It is only OTA/Rookie Minis and the production has to keep coming in TC and preseason but Scott is very much in the running for not only making the team but being an active player on gamedays.

People need to stop selling Scott short.

The usually boring 4th preseason game is only for us die-hards watching/grading incremental performances for backup spots, but this year could actually be quite entertaining.

Hill, Boston, Barrett, Meredith, TreQuan, Yelder, Jonathan Williams, Edmunds, etc...should get some significant time to shine. I have a feeling there'll be some explosive plays between them. I can't wait.

I honestly feel Payton has bigger and better things in mind for Kamara than just the Sproles role and Scott could hopefully be a perfect fit for that.

A part of me wants to see Kamara become a run/pass workhorse star like Marshall Faulk/ LeSean McCoy in their prime cuz I think he can match their elite production...

But my head says it's definitely the smart thing to share the load with Scott/Williams/et al until Ingram gets his share of touches back.

I have watched his entire career at Tech. He is really good. I can't wait to see him in a Saints uniform.

Jonathan Williams is immensely talented as well. I hope they both make the team, I’m sure they will. Kamara, Ingram , Scott , and Williams is a talented group.

Probably what his original vision for healthy Reggie was.

I think Ingram is an above average RB, but he does everything well. Nothing exceptional, but that's the thing about RBs...above average is still really good.

Kamara is a guy who has the potential to do it ALL exceptional. That's a transcendent guy like Gurley, Zeke, David Johnson, Bell.

No.
All the upvotes are emotional based.
BScott is not big enough for The League. Not every short Back is another Sproles. Those are rare gems.

Brees probably wouldn't be drafted in the first 5 rounds these days due to his being a runt

I remember watching him and Alex Collins and being pretty amazed at their production depsite shite blocking. Funny that they both have had pretty similar NFL careers

Honest question.

Do you believe Scott doesn't make the 53?

Emotional based responses are the best to take advantage of.

I have $100 on Scott making the roster. I will pay up if wrong. Interested or just solely trolling?

like a Trindon Holliday type

Not a good comparison other than them both being short. Holiday had track star speed, that was about it.
And ended up with 1 career rushing attempt in the nfl.
