Do You Get Pissed When Dalton Throws Short Of The Sticks?

I'd first want to know why a receiver is running a 3 yard route on a 3rd and 5. Then possibly get mad at the OC, WR, and QB.

It's a bit more complicated.

Defense is playing to the sticks so the offense is given the underneath. It's on the QB to put the ball in the perfect spot for the receiver to catch in stride and go make a play.

I get pissed when I see Dalton on the field at all, but there’s nothing I can do about it so I’m mostly over it.

everyone wants to shite on dalton for it but DA and PC are calling 3 yard pass routes when its 3rd and long, even when they need +10 yards for the first down.

thats not daltons fault the coaching staff is calling plays designed not to get 1st down yardage

Yeah those are usually on the receiver. The play call is designed for the receiver to get to the first down marker before making their cut. If they cut the route short there’s not a lot a qb like Dalton can do.
