Do you agree with the Malveto approach?

I think it can work. They just need to make sure each co-coordinator has clearly-defined duties and boundaries. We can’t afford to have indecisiveness and confusion about the chain of command during games.

If we have 2 DCs we don’t have any.

Georgia had co defensive coordinators and won the national championship so obviously it can work. Especially when the head coach is a defensive minded coach to begin with. It's not like the co coordinators will be arguing over what defense to run cause it will be Allen's defense.

People assume co coordinators means there will be conflict and or ineptitude. I would imagine things will stay similar to last season with those guys doing a lot of the same things they did last season just with an upgraded title now.

Maybe we don't need a DC like we didn't NEED and OC with CSP, yet we HAD Carmichael officially listed as OC.

So what does it mean when you have 3?

That Allen calls the defense

Neilsen continues with the DL and Richard with the secondary.

They all gameplan during the week just like they’ve been doing

What exactly, specifically do people think the problem is?

People just flaming or flaming idiots.

"This is weak leadership. I mean two guys on the sideline calling plays at the same time is a disaster. I'm selling my tickets."

This will be DA’s defense. The CODC titles gives two good coaches pay bumps that keep them both here. MALVeto didn’t work for a number of reasons, but glaring was that Les wasn’t a D coach.

I really do hate how since it failed once 20 years ago…In college some people just scream the same mallaveto shite anytime co coordinators come up. You know why mallaveto failed? Because both coaches were unqualified and incompetent.

These two have stellar resumes and will have the guy that’s been running the D for years leading them.

If this fails it has nothing to do with that disaster under Les fricking Miles

Yeah some people are just simple. If they had the same duties but they called them run game and pass game coordinator they'd probably shut up.

That was the first thing that came to mind when I heard that they were appointing co defensive coordinators. It may not matter since Allen will be running the defense anyway.
