That 2nd quote is not mine.
As to Carr we know his ceiling I think. I'm not telling anyone he is a stud. I think he is a average nfl qb. Give him a shite oline like last year and this year and you will get a below average Carr. Did you know that if you can't run the ball your qb has a harder time throwing it? We sucked running the ball last year. I thought people around here knew that.

Maybe TDs isn't the only metric you should look at. But for the sake of argument, let's do that for last season.

First, Joey B is easy since he only had 10 games in the regular season. Joe Burrow only had 15 TDs in his last 10 games. He must really suck.

For the whole season (regular season only), Carr was 10th in TDs with 25. Dak Prescott was first with 36. Patrick Mahomes was 8th with 27 so he is only slightly better than Carr and not as good as Dak Prescott, Jordan Love, Brock Purdy, Jared Goff, Josh Allen, Tua Tagovailoa, and Baker Mayfield by your standard of measure, I guess.

Hope you’re sitting down. That didn’t include

1 pt win vs Tannehill (benched)
3 pt win vs Bryce Young in his 2nd career start
Loss to TB where we scored zero TDs
Blowout of Mac Jones (Benched)
Loss to Stroud where we scored one TD
Loss to JAX where we didn’t score a TD til 4Q

Who else can we blame when you’re consistently bad vs mediocre to bad football teams? Well there’s one constant

Yeah, Drew Brees and Peyton Manning were absolutely garbage at play action and bootlegs.

And neither of these was in a Kubiak / Shannahan style of offense you dumbfrick, You just proved my point and you were trying to be a smart-arse.

Brees did his damage inside the pocket and Manning could not run a boot if his nuts were on a choppin block.

Even if I concede the point on bootleg (which I am not), that doesn't account for play action. You cannot possibly argue that Drew and Peyton were not good at PA.

I additionally contest your assertion that both of those players would not do well in a Kubiak/Shanahan offense. Brock Purdy does just fine and he is no athletic juggernaut.

The insult was also uncalled for, especially when using it in a sentence about how Drew Brees and Peyton Manning would not thrive in a Kubiak/Shanahan offense whilst arguing about play action pass and bootlegs. You should tone it down a notch; it's just football.

That first loss to Tampa. I chalked that up on just crap decision making by DA

Carr should not have even been playing in that game.

We already know he likes to check it down but that's basically all he did the whole game.

Tampa played a 46 Bear front all day. They had a perfect game plan whereas it looked like we did not.

I'm not saying we would have won if jameis had played the whole time but it would have been a better shot at doing so.

Brock Purdy is the exact style of QB that excels in a Kubiak offense. He basically won the Play-off Packers game by scrambling and making plays on his own

CARR cannot do that.

Manning is an all-time great but he could not do that either.

Brees maybe in his prime could.

Only the dumb half. What moron would hope for his QB to fail? It's like saying you hope your President starts a nuclear war so the nation votes a different way next time. Not logical at all

Agree. Finding a top 12-15 level qb that can consistently perform in today’s NFL is a tall order.

When he is in rhythm and throwing on time, it’s looked good. If he goes out and performs, that’ll silence the naysayers 100%.

Only fear that until the offensive line is semi stable, he will continue to struggle.

Such a stuuuupid take. It’s a sports message board guy. No one wants Carr to fail. No one wanted Jameis or Dalton to fail. They did that on their own. I want Carr to throw 35 touchdowns and win multiple playoff games. Two things he’s failed to accomplish in over a decade in the nfl. If he wins one playoff game (which really should be a bare minimum expectation) I’ll be the first one on here eating crow.

Yea they probably think moving on from Carr and DA sooner than later would be good for the team in the long run. I doubt most people want DA and Carr to fail because they simply dislike them.
