Obvious needs are backup LT and a decent backup outside CB. We could also use better RB and WR depth. The rest of the roster seems pretty set.

That’s a possible Super Bowl roster IMO

Oof that WR group. We’re in trouble there. Would love to make a trade, or sign someone who gets cut

With cook, the hills, and the rookie, could we see Payton go with a lot of 2 te sets to offset the weak WRs some?

Peat is the backup LT with 3 capable guards.

That roster should win the whole thing. Deepest in the NFL

Could definitely use another veteran for depth but I wouldn’t say we’re in trouble. We have the best wr in the league and a pro bowl caliber #2. Smith has had issues but has shown flashes and considering we have Kamara, Cook, T. Hill and now the rookie TE as targets there’s only so many balls to go around.

Center will be Ruiz. RG/backup will be McCoy. This comes directly from Payton. Peat is the backup LT as mentioned.

And if you wanted to strip that depth chart down, I've counted 41 definite roster spots with competition everywhere for those final 12 spots

DB = DJ Swearinger, Saquan Hampton, Justin Hardee, Deatrick Nichols, Johnson Bademosi, JT Gray
DL = Carl Granderson, Noah Spence, Taylor Stallworth, Jalen Dalton
OL = Nick Easton, Ethan Greenridge, Will Clapp, Cameron Tom
WR = Emmanuel Butler, Lil'jordan Humphrey
LB = Kaden Elliss, Andrew Dowell, Chase Hansen

there's some damn good players in that bunch and I didn't even list Tommy Stevens or any other UDFA. the ones we cut will easily find homes elsewhere

I still haven't given up on the Butler dream. He had a great camp then dropped passes in preschool games due more to a lack of focus than questionable hands. Hope he figures it out this off-season.

Didn’t they resign Cameron Tom too? I know the coaches like him so it’ll be interesting to see if they keep him over Clapp or Easton

Damn strong team.

Eli's cominnnng ...... back to fill the backup CB spot.

Likely pick up a veteran receive or two to check out, maybe a free agent find somewhere. There are backups who can start other places so trading for a receiver is possible.

Don’t be surprised to see Ginn back in the mix at a reduced rate of course.

I’d love to add Taylor Gabriel. I really don’t think they’ll add anyone though. If Thomas and Sanders stay healthy we will be more than OK. You have to think, there’s only so many balls and passes. We also have Cook, Kamara, Taysom, drawn up plays for Harris and probably Trautman (they got him for a reason). That’s not accounting for the rushes Kamara and Murray will take.

I think adding someone like Gabriel would be cheap and be a solid #3. And you never know, TreQuan could turn the corner
