Can get similar production from an UDFA for much cheaper. No thanks.

I hope not. He’s hurt more than Davenport

Most of you forgot how dynamic he is. Hope he comes back next year since we paid him 4 to not play.

Harty was very dangerous when the stupid Saints actually threw the ball to him. So no I heavily disagree that an UDFA would be as good or better than Harty.

Not a chance unless it’s for $2 million. Shaheed is better and he’s also a damn good WR. I would love to have him so we didn’t have to worry about Shaheed getting hurt returning kicks but someone will give him $5 million or more to be their ST ace. Look for him to go to Denver. Sean loves him.

Not really. During Drew's last year he was probably our best WR during some games.

Colston was a late 7th round pick. Lance Moore went undrafted. So did PT.

Drew made a career here of making guys look better than they actually were.

And how many higher drafted wide receivers on our team have done better? Trequan Smith, Callaway? Nah. Harty is better than both of them. Drew didn't make them look as good as Harty.

There is no way he is getting 5 mil a year. I love harty, but i agree he gets hurt too much.

The saints never used him enough or in the right ways. I could see him going to denver for sure.

As a WR Shaheed's rookie year was close to Harty's best year (2021) and that included Shaheed missing all offseason and the first 5 weeks of the season while he was recovering from an ACL injury.

Harty 2021: 41 touches, 611 yds, 3 TDs
Shaheed: 32 touches, 545 yds, 3 TDs

Harty has a career punt return average of 9.77 yards (best year was 12.2 Yds) with 1 TD. Shaheed's average last year was 9.65 yds

Harty has a career kick return average of 25.43 yards (best year was 27.3 Yds). Shaheed's average last year was 22.85 yds. Neither has a TD

Based on the small sample size, it can easily be argued that Shaheed, as an UDFA, has been just as good as Harty. Also, Shaheed is under contract for $870k in 2023. Harty was paid $4M last year. IMO, he's a cap casualty.

NO way this happens, but spotrac estimates Harty's market value at $8.5M/ year

Harty needs a QB with a big arm. He's very pedestrian if there is no threat of him going deep.

His best time here was when Jameis was throwing to him. Easily his best.

He was in that Tampa playoff game, once he got hurt, pretty much killed our offense.

Id hope the Saints tender him at the 3rd round rate. If Sean wants him, pay up. We might just trade him for a 4th or something.
He does have value, and as an RFA, we hold his rights.
