Comp pick incoming.

Exactly!

Hate to lose him and his leadership, but it's saves the Saints money and potentially get a nice compensatory pic.

Hopefully he puts up Pro Bowl numbers for the Jets

Kinda but they'll probably only get like 7 games together.

We did ok with this. Jets had him while he was developing, we had him during his entire prime, return him to the Jets at 37. Not horrible

Overrated as frick when you’re spending your entire life in pain. It’s still a job and fans care way more about this stuff than the players do. Especially in your late 30s

That’s why so many vets jump on contending teams in the twilight of their careers? Maybe DD cared more about money than winning. Not hating on him for it. Different priorities.

This makes it less likely that the Jets take Styles, and more likely they pick Bane, Reese or Bailey.

I’m hoping Styles falls to us as the Demario replacement. Davis was still our best defensive player last year and led us in tackling. He will be missed.

He was a vocal leader on defense. He will be missed

Stop thinking like Loomis, and yes I'm sure Davis will have some good games but we need to get younger.

How many of y’all remember a few years back when the Saints made the decision to get rid of some of the leaders of the defense.I do and it wasn’t pretty, the D fell apart.I hope they replace DD with like kind especially leadership wise.

Demario Davis back to the Jets

I believe all Saints fans wish a great career end to a great player. Hopefully he achieves further success with his new team as did the late great Sam Mills. He was a great player and a better person. Demario loved New Orleans and it loved him back. Maybe the big media will be enough to push him to Canton one day.

15 million just to get him to sign dude. We always complain about keeping players too long. This is what it looks like when...you don't.

That's a pretty high number for him. He played for 8 and 8 the last 2 years i believe.

And it is more about his age and letting a young guy step up.

You can draft a linebacker with one of your 4th rounders and put that 11 mil into a skill guy on d linemen. The saints also need another corner.
