Horrible pick

Dude hasn’t played in a year and has made horrible decisions since his injury

Had a chance to come back during the season and refused

Had a chance to workout at the Senior Bowl and refused

Had a chance to workout at the combine and refused

He’s a walking red flag. No fight in him

I’d love an elite corner. Just not sure either of these guys are a sure thing for a pick as high as us(obviously nobody is). Would just love a young elite playmaker or a guy who is a game wrecker.

Didn’t Derrick Stingley largely sit out his last year with LSU “rehabbing”

I’m not that familiar with his game but if he is truly elite it’s worth a look

Yes

This is a nothing burger in today’s game. Delane ducked workouts at the combine too

He’s got question marks but seems to have all the traits you’d want in a CB you’re taking this high…just lacks that final year of film

I'm guessing Daniel Jeremiah had a big influence. Just saw this today from PFSN:

Jermod McCoy goes 15th in that mock.

Keylan Rutledge goes 31st.

Jadarian Price - RB - goes 32nd?

You can either believe this nonsense or believe his agent made the majority of those decisions outside of not playing the last 2-3 games. Like Gyno said, he already had elite tape.

It’s really no different than saying Chase didn’t have any fight when he sat out an entire year. Some teams might care. Most probably don’t. I’m not banging on the table for McCoy but I’d rather him than Downs and Bain if I’m being honest. I’d rather go Chris Johnson in the 2nd and take Tate or Lemon but McCoy in the first and a WR in the 2nd would be good too.

This. All that shite is agent driven. In 5 years, I doubt we even have a combine anymore - at least in its current form - since more and more guys will opt out of competing in drills, running 40s and letting their tape speak for itself…at least when it comes to the top 10-15 guys

Ioane at #17 seems a little late for him.

Then it was that we will see him play at the senior bowl. Doesn’t show up

Doesn’t do any drills until his pro day. McCoy has elite measurables, but hasn’t played football in a year and a ton of questions surrounding why it took up until the pro day to compete

We could say the same/similar about an elite lsu cb - Derek stingley.
Played in 3 games. Lisfranc injury didn't participate in the combine.
Still went 3 overall

But we knew he sat out bc of those things unlike McCoy

I don’t think there is a such thing as a sure thing at corner. Jeff Okudah was rated as a higher prospect in his draft than any one in the upcoming 2026 draft and has been a bust thus far. Corner has a high bust rate

To be fair, he tore his achilles early and never fully recovered. Injuries can happen to anyone.

Washington is such a wildcard and their mocks have been all over the place. Also Arizona. I think NYJ and Tenn are fairly predictable but who knows. I’m so ready to see who we end up with. I really hope we go WR if it’s not Bailey , Styles , Love , or Delane. I like downs a lot but idk about a safety at 8. I hope if we go non premium $$ position it’s either Love or Styles.

A lot of teams are being unpredictable. I think outside of the Raiders and Titans a lot of teams in the top 10 want to trade down.

There’s been smoke everywhere for the Giants to go Love, OL, Styles, Downs, Tate. They’re even more unpredictable than the Commanders. I think that’s why a lot of mocks will get it wrong as far as where these guys go but get it right as far as the top prospects going top 10. Idk if there are gonna be any Kelvin Banks sneak ups into the top 10 this year

Yeah NyG is def a wildcard too. They were getting mocked Carnell Tate a lot early on but lately it’s been all over the place

I like Tate but I’m a little worried that he benefited from facing a lot of CB 2s bc Smith drew so much attention.

Mendoza is going to the Raiders.

I think everyone agrees that the Jets will take Reese or Bailey. Most seem to think it will be Reese.

The cardinals are a wildcard. They can go in almost any direction and might even trade the pick.

Titans seem like they could go Love, Styles or WR. I’d guess Love or WR to help out Cam Ward.

Giants could go several different ways. Love, Styles, Downs, WR or OL. I feel like they are set with Burns and Carter at Edge so they wouldn’t go with Bailey or Bain.

Cleveland and Washington are toss ups. I have no idea what they do.
