Cowboys fan transitioning

So I’ve been a Cowboys fan my whole life. It’s been nothing but hype anger then disappointment in a cycle.
Went to LSU after the 2011 season. Safe to say Mathieu is one of the reasons LSU caught my eye. Been a die hard Tigers fan ever since.
That being said, always loved Brees but never wanted to fully swap and be a full on bandwagon. But now that the Saints are bringing in former Tiger Greats like Landry and Mathieu, coupled with the convenience of following LSU and Saints media, I’m thinking it might be time to just rip the bandaid.
Bonus: I’m drinking the Derek Carr kool aid.

I'll allow anyone to join Saints fandom, but I feel like cowboy and falcon fans that switch need to be hazed a bit.
Why don't you give us a good "tldr" melt on why the cowboys have been irrelevant since the mid 90's.

Seems like Burrow, Chase and the Bengals is the more natural choice instead of forcing some Saints fandom bc they have Carr and a over the hill safety from LSU.

I definitely root for Joe and Jamar but I wouldn’t consider myself a Cincinnati fan. Plus if you take that route, without some NFL Sunday ticket, you’d hardly get to watch them on TV.
Part of why I’m leaning saints it’s the convenience. Most LSU media also covers the saints so I find myself knowing more about the saints than the cowboys. I have to go to another source for Dallas news vs getting all of the LSU and saints news in one place. Pelicans is the lagniappe here.
