Just a casual $44 million cap hit each of the next 2 seasons...
Trading future assets for him would piss me off. And I'm saying this as a big D.Adams fan. He's also about to turn 32 years old.

Not unless the base salary is restructured. It's way too bloated

I would lean towards the oline. Unless you think WR is a more urgent need?

If we are going to waste high draft picks on Foskeys and Pennings then go get Adams. If we plan on drafting like we did this year then I say keep the picks

This and only this is the correct answer

It would take a disgruntled lineman to trade for but that seldom happens.
I was glad to see Patrick back at LG. Never saw any grades for our guys.

Shaeed has gone full retard the last 2 weeks.

I'm still confused why more people aren't pissed about that TD he dropped in Philly game. Carr put it right in his hands. Olsen somehow said that it was "underthrown" and it seems like people just blindly agreed with that take. It wasn't underthrown, it was a perfect pass and if he caught it we'd have won

Assets beings cap space and draft picks. He has $44 mil cap hits the next two years. Theres no way

That would not be his cap hit. That is his hit to LV. If traded any prorated bonuses would accelerate on them, not the team that gets him. His caphit would be roughly $36 million per if no adjustments were made like extending him or reworking his base salary to signing bonuses and spread over some void years.

If you can trade them Lattimore for him, it may be possible without trading a major pick since people want to trade Lattimore anyhow.

$36m doesn’t make it any more palatable

If anything we should be trading guys like Lattimore for picks. But we have also made that difficult to do given the way he’s structured

That attempted over the shoulder catch inside the 5 on the punt return was unforgivable in every way.

The fact that we consider Shaheed a number 2 tell you how shitty our WRs are currently. If we can't trot a 32 year old gadget player out there, our offense falls apart.

We aren’t really in position to be trading for expensive guys north of 30.

He has had THREE contested catch opportunities in the endzone this season and not caught a fricking one.

The dude turns 32 years old in 3 months and they want a 2nd round pick for him. These are the retarded decisions that dumb organizations make. If we do this it would backfire tenfold

Fuk it I’m trading for him. This is a playoff team and this offense gets considerably better with him. Can’t double Olave or Adams. I make this move yesterday.

No.

Please don’t waste any future assets on what’s looking to be another throw away season.

There Is no way they should be going after Adams and his contract. Not to mention the draft capital.

2 pick and cap friendly new deal. I am in for that. Next off-season, we need dump salary for new contracts for Olave, Taylor, and Adobe.
