Regardless of my personal opinion of DA (I like him), many of you have expressed your displeasure with our head guy. If DA is starting to get his seat hot, he probably will look at the LSU DC role. He has NFL experience, which is what our stars on defense want. He can turn Harold Perkins into a Demario Davis type linebacker, and coach the young pups at DB to be similar to Marcus Lattimore, Tyran Mathieu, and Bryan Brees.

I'm wondering if DA is seriously considering this because he knows of how angry (albeit unwarranted) the fanbase is. Only an hour move up the river that would be a good move for LSU, but would be a loss for the Saints.

is that where you want your fDAd to go? it'd be a bit of a paycut.

Never going to happen but DA would feast as a defense coordinator in the college ranks and likely get offered a HC job after one season at LSU as DC

Seriously, why would he have any
Interest in a DC position at LSU? It
doesn’t add up.

Why go to LSU when he could take his pick in the NFL?

Because this is obviously a troll post and not a serious question.

When/if DA leaves the Saints, he would be considered one of the best available DC's on the market. And since he would have failed as a HC twice, it will be even more attractive because they know the likelihood of him ever leaving to become a HC would be slim to none.

You think a top 10 NFL DC wants to get paid less, work more, and deal with the hassle of recruiting, boosters, dealing with kids and academics vs just showing up and doing their job?

This year has been worse than usual with the random new posters.

I'm blaming school being out. We just need every one of the newbies back in school and off the board.

Don’t discount the OP just yet. I’m thinking Loomis and Woodward could work out a trade. DA for Jayden. It almost makes too much sense not to happen.

Yes, for a secondary degree in public speaking.

Dude is the most overrated DC ever.

Oversaw the Minneapolis Miracle, a game winning playoff drive by kirk freaking cousins, couldn't stop the rams once when it mattered in no call game, countless blown games in final two minutes.

He fricking sucks

89 downvotes to 0 upvotes. This is truly a remarkable accomplishment.

Also, 89-0 seems like a fairly likely score against the Saints and their “unfairly maligned” coach if they weasel their way into the playoffs.
