Well Saints opened at +6.5 and are down to +3. So Vegas is thinking it will be a close game. I think the Saints pull out the upset.

I've got to say that last week genuinely pissed me off I was surprised at how well the defense played.

Kyle shanahan's offense usually gives us a lot of problems.

But thanks to turnovers and penalties as usual we couldn't get it done.

Tonight is the last straw we lose this one and forget about it.

I'm not expecting a win but I'm all for a surprise victory.

As well as the defense played if not for the turnovers completely different results against S.F.

Complete lack of interest
I know it is game day, but this board has been dead all weekend

last week was the final nail in the coffin for fans to still hope they can do something

now its set in that no matter what, we are going to suck the rest of the year, and next year too, since DA will have the "injuries" excuse to save him from losing his job.

even if we beat them tonight, we are still a dumpster fire from top to bottom and are just trying to get out of this season in the least embarrassing way we can

and just to confirm, yes, i think we beat them tonight, because saints always do the opposite of what they are expected to do in games like this. if its a sure win they lose, if its a sure loss, they win.

this is why i expect a good game tonight and they find a way to win it. so i think the logical thing of saying, dont bother watching, is wrong, and this is a game you shouldnt miss. i also think this is the last game we win this year, and we lose every game after this one unless carolina forces us to win when they dont even try

I'll never intentionally miss a game no matter how bad it gets. I don't want to be on my death bed, surrounded by family and loved ones and my last thought to be, "I can't believe I missed the Saints arse fricking Tom Brady one last time back in 2022...."

If we beat the 49ers tonight, that would be the biggest upset in NFL history.

Same here. I will watch and hope for a win- that's why we are fans however I have never felt less excitement in my life about the Saints. If we win, fine. If we lose, fine.

I love the Saints, but hate this team. Did last year too. Just very defeating when you know you don't have a guy at the most important position on the playing field. If you don't have a QB, you're going nowhere quick.

Of course, one can never expect a quick turnaround like from Favre to Rodgers or Manning to Luck, but frick me Drew Brees to Jameis fricking Winston or Andy Dalton is just numbing.

I am going to watch, but I may wait and do it on DVR later in the evening. I am just fricking tired of thinking the Saints will finally show up, just to get disappointed again and again.

I am sort of the same way, I dont really remember being like this. I guess it doesnt help that I am in Texas, but my lack of interest is alarming.

I plan of half-assed watching... sitting on the floor in front of the TV, going through the strings of Christmas lights and replacing bulbs while the game is on.

That's the best I can do with a 4-8 team.

I’m going to watch and I’m pissed about it. I’m expecting a low scoring ugly game but know the saints will lose
