Couple things:

this is from last monday after Rams game.

I think he just has a very good grasp of the situation and does a good job of explaining his stance.

It was hilarious when he says "what do we need to see from Teddy Bridgewater? How many times do we need to see him throw for a 180 yards to say he's a good backup".

Teddy threw for 177 yesterday.

I do hope one of these games we get to see a Taysom show. I also do hope Teddy does very well as well.

Our offense yesterday reminded me a lot of LSU’s offenses of the past.

The defense just knew we weren’t any type of threat to beat them down field so they stacked the box

Russel Wilson killed us at times with what Taysom Hill can easily bring to our offense, mobility out of the pocket and buys time much easier.

Yes, a lot of those throwing yards too were basically screens or bubbles with Kamara getting the ball behind the line of scrimmage and creating his own space.

I'd like to see a little more of Teddy, and I wasn't a supporter of his. He still looks a little slow and indecisive, but at the end of the day he didn't turn the ball over (which is huge) and made some nice throws when it mattered.

He hasn't really played in over 2 years so it's going to take some time to adjust to the game speed.

Also I think as his confidence grows, his play will get better. This was a nice solid game for him even it looked frustrating at times.

Teddy really needs a big week in practice this week. He's back here in NOLA (last week they were in washington). I hope his confidence grows a bit, payton's confidence in Teddy grows a bit, Payton needs to let Teddy grow or fail, either way we need to find out. I hope Teddy can springboard this win into a more confident Teddy and we can find new ways to Roll.

The Saints play calling vs Seahawks was ultra conservative. Average air yards per completion: 1.8 yards, lowest in the league. Creative screen game (featuring Kamara) was the key to their success. It will be interesting to see if they open it up once opponents adjust.

Russel Wilson is a devastating weapon in all facets of the quarterback position. Not a fair comparison.

Russell Wilson is way...and I mean way better than any QB on our roster not named Drew. And I mean at this stage in both their careers even they is debatable. Russ can make every throw is smart as hell and can get away from any sack. And he is a Superbowl champion. Dont even try to compare this dude to Taysom.

I'm still confused as to why they did not play Hill more.

I really thought they would play him in the 3rd down more. And it wasnt because he is the 2nd QB because he was still playing ST. Maybe saving some stuff for Dallas after it looked like we had the game in hand???

Simms must have had part of his brain removed along with his spleen. We have to unfortunately tread very lightly with Hill and his many roles. He goes down hurt and we are really in trouble.

sadly, i'm amazed with this is what you took from it. He thinks Taysom should be given the chance to be the guy. You're saying we can't do that bc we're better off giving Taysom 7 special teams snaps?

Man it really is like LSU now. Poster above invoked the dreaded secret playbook.

Bridgewater is not always going to get the benefit of being spotted two touchdowns courtesy of defense and special teams.

It’s crazy to me Chris Simms still has a job. He’s been consistently really really bad at his job for a long time

Reading the post in this thread I think people need to realize CSP is giving Teddy needed reps to get up to speed. How many games has he started in the last three years?
You don't get a guy into a groove swapping out every other series.
If Teddy falters Taysom will get his shot.
