Can’t put my finger on why but carr will go down as one of my least favorite players here. Just an unlikeable tool

Just a terrible fricking signing that never made sense

There was something ominous with the way Carr was talked about this offseason. Especially with the way KM talked about him

Carr is a wishy-washy tool bag.

He was a Dennis Allen guy.

I don't think he ever had the respect of the Lockeroom there are no endearing qualities to his leadership or his game. He was a Dennis Allen pick for God fricking sake!!!!!!!!

get his arse out of here!

Good. That's what you get for stealing LSU coaches.

Bet he hurt it lifting.

So we're hoping he somehow hurt it himself/not at team direction so the Saints can void his contract and not pay him?

Even worse. When he had the chance to leave the raiders his weird arse picked Dennis Allen.

Carr possibly out for the season with shoulder injury

what possible shoulder injury would have him miss the season?? we're in the 2nd week of April..even with a labrum or a cuff he could start throwing end of June at the latest if he got cut this week...he wouldnt be a week 1 start but surely wouldnt miss the sesason

If they draft Milroe at #9 then the Saints deserve every loss coming to them for years to come for that level of stupidity.

Wouldn't give them an out of the accounting trick of spreading out an already paid signing bonus over multiple years, so some of the problems would still hit if he is cut. Still, they need to figure out an exit strategy from this guy starting this season.

This is what I'm curious about

Also, who is handling the surgery? When?

That had to be done, regardless. Without that, cutting him post June 1would have hit harder than it will now

Underhill said the Saints have been aware of this and it wasn’t some surprise news.

LOL @ everyone that renewed season tickets. The Saints knew this entire time and are leaking to the media that they are shocked. News comes 24 hours after the final extended deadline to renew season tickets.

You do realize that this was the first payment that was due. You can call and cancel them before the second payment is due. I did it for a pair last year.

That makes no sense. Why the restructure? That pushed more money and added a year.

Because getting cap compliant was impossible without restructuring Carr. The current restructure allows us to cut him post-June 1st without impacting the 2025 cap while simultaneously helping our cap situation for 2026.

It's almost like the restructuring was designed just for this situation
