Was Haener allowed to practice these last few weeks?

Sean Salsbury was brutal on AFR. Said nothing personal but the Saint ain’t winning anything with Carr or Winston. Said the two players are basically the same players just different numbers.
Furthermore wasn’t surprised by Carr because this is the kind of player he has always been. A good QB that isn’t good enough to get you anywhere.

I wonder, I imagine we will never know, but who pushed to get Carr?
Answer is always a "team decision" it seems. Curious though.

yes carr isnt doing great, but he is adjusting his play in this coaching farce he must deal with just like all the other players are doing. he turned into who he is out of self preservation to stay healthy

Good, we need a top 3 pick in next year's draft. This is one of the strongest qb classes to date. JD5 or Penix Jr would be amazing.

I get it but the point Sal was making was both Carr and Winston are going to wow you at time and break your heart a others. So you make make an extra pass or 2 with Winston, Win another game or two with him starting. Where is he taking you? because if your goal is winning a championship is ain't happening with either of them. If you want to win divisions and maybe a game in the playoffs fine. You could probably do that in most years with either of them.

If Carr and Winston look the same playing QB on The Saints despite having completely different styles before coming here, maybe Carr isn’t the problem. To me, the common denominator is Pete Carmichael. If two differences QB’s are making the same mistakes and bad decisions, it could be coaching.
