It’s Draft Day Who Dat Nation! Who do you have the Saints taking and why?
I’ll start off....being the Saints are notorious for trading up and not back, my thinking is Payton still remembers getting beat to the punch by the defending Super Bowl Champs. Mahomes was his guy and if we got him, sadly enough, Brees would be retired or with someone else.
SO, if a certain QB just so happens to fall past 6, Payton can’t help himself and mortgages the future on Tua Tagovailoa! He can’t let another team such as the Patriots get his man. Goodbye to next years 1st along with other picks.
IF we stay out, I’m hoping we get the local kid with a huge upside in Patrick Queen. Outside of Davis, our LB Corp is aging and fragile. With all the weapons in the division, speed and coverage ability is a must! Queen delivers on both.

This board won't be happy with the pick, whoever it is.
Many threads erupt with just vile and slanderous "WHAT THE HELL IS MICKEY THINKING, FIRE THEM ALL" threads.
Dies down in about 30 minutes.
Then the threads pointing out how good the pick is, using actual stats and not emotion, and those will pop up about 2 an hour until tomorrow.
Then a spattering of both for the next couple of days.

The Saints may trade up to the #20 spot right ahead of the Eagles to take an impact starting day one WR such as Tee Higgins or Justin Jefferson.
Defense is not the problem in the playoffs.
An anemic offense in the playoffs is evident.
Michael Thomas had a hand injury and Kamara was not healthy.
Defenses in the playoffs look to neutralize or knock out the best offensive players.
