I know it’s early in OTAs but this is really bad. We better win this damn division this year

Bryce Young looks like someones lost child in Panthers Camp.

I think Atlanta by default will be the team we are competing with. I like our odds

Trask’s throws looked to be more on the receivers. Baker is just not good.

I’ll start to get a little confident when it’s Mike Evans and Chris Godwin out there dropping passes and being missed, not some random.

You can always count on this in games the Saints should win easily.

Look if we dont go 6-0 in the division this year, thats grounds for DA to get fired alone.

this ^^^^^^

the QB is throwing to a spot on the field, not at the guy.

so if the WR is off his route, the ball wont be where he is, it will be where he should have been.

Atlanta is the second best team in the division right now.
6-0 is the ceiling and 4-2 should be the floor.

Trask is a gamer

People forget/don’t know. He didn’t start in High School. He was a walk on at Florida and only played due to injury and other players underperforming.

Dude balled in college. Won a bunch of games and gave Burrow and LSU everything they could handle in 2019. He gave Bama everything they could handle in the SEC Ship in 2020. Etc.

He Has just gotten zero chance in Tampa due to Brady being there.

I think it would be unwise to rule him out from being decent. He’s overachieved every time he’s actually been given the keys and been allowed to play a game.

I agree the Panthers will be borderline excellent if Bryce gets a nice rhythm early in the year. They have a very nice roster. They will likely be elite within a a couple of years. Question is not if, it’s when.

Part of the price tag for young was dj Moore. He is a huge loss. I'm not a fan of their skill guys

They have guys. Terrace Marshall could blossom if he stays healthy (and finally having a decent QB). They have Chuba. They picked up Hayden Hurst at Tight End. Think they picked up DJ Chark and Thielen as well. They drafted a great offensive tackle last season. It could be a sneaky good offense this season.

I think we either get our act together and win the division this year, or Carolina does.

I’m not threatened by Tampa (even though I was complimentary of Trask). And Ridder is a Goddamn joke of a QB, not to mention, their culture is a joke. They simply have not fixed their tendency to choke since that 28-3 Super Bowl.

Yep.

Trask is a good quarterback. Chad Pennington but bigger. What he lacks in arm strength he makes up for in smarts. Will hang in there to make a throw.

Might not start hot out of the gate but he is someone who has developed at every level and I've got no doubt he can be a decent starter in the league at some point. He'll get his chance this year because Baker is terrible.

Have a decent line now. They will run the ball. There defense is solid

I just don't think they will be horrible. Atlanta also has some nice pieces. If I'm a falcons fan, I love how Arthur Smith has built the offense.

All by design, they want Caleb Williams and have the roster to get him.

Nah. Ridder can play. He has the tools to develop into a nice QB. He plays within himself and doesn’t try to do too much which leads to turnovers.

He won’t have a Jalen Hurts ascension if he hits but he can be a nice player.

People are way too overconfident about Carr being the best QB in the division as if there aren’t 3 guys on each of the other rosters who are developing. Right now, Carr is the best/most experienced but I highly doubt he finishes the season with that tag. Just being honest.

the part that I don't get is that they went after DeShaun Watson so hard yet now Ridder is the guy.

When Ridder did play Atlanta coaches kept the play book simplified. He averaged just 6.16 yards per attempt.

He's an unknown.

what does make Atlanta a threat is their running game. They ran it all over us last year in both games.

if they can possess the ball, they will be a tougher out than people think.

Smith’s MO dating back to TEN. It’s become pretty obvious after seeing who they added on D and in the run game. They’re going to try and dominate TOP while asking Ridder to manage the game on short passes and his legs

CAR currently does not have the pieces to execute a Frank reich offense. Leaning on a rookie QB with those WRs will come with growing pains. Seems like they got a lot of “holdover” guys until the can really start making moves in the draft and FA. They won’t be a pushover

And Trask can’t be any worse than Brady last year. I’d still expect slight regression from Tampa

1 Saints
2 Atlanta
3 Tampa
4 Carolina

Don’t expect any 4 wins type of teams though

Still think we need a strict pass rusher to help pressure these young QBs
