The Denver Broncos requested and received permission from the New Orleans Saints to interview Sean Payton got their head coach job, league sources tell ESPN. The NFL ruled that any in-person interview with Payton cannot be conducted until at least January 17, per sources.

That would give us a first round pick at bottom of round 1 since Seattle has their top ten pick for this year

I guess let the games begin.

Hopefully numerous teams are interested and Payton also has mutual interest.

Still think Arizona is the most likely, but glad there are teams expressing interest already and setting up interviews

Denver draft picks in 2023:

Round 1: via 49ers through Dolphins
Round 3 (own)
Round 3: via Colts
Round 4 (own)
Round 5 (own)
Round 6: via Steelers

if the Dolphins lose to tomorrow than they are out of the playoffs.

not sure what number that pick would be for that pick that Denver owns.

That Jets-Miami game is a toss ImO

Dolphins starting Skylar Thompson
Jets starting Joe Flacco

give Jets a slight edge because their D is better than Miami's

Not as good as what other teams can offer, though.

Like which team and what pick is better that is reasonable?

Better than a pick in the late 20s?

Doubt we get Arizona or HOU’s pick so what’s at play?

Arizona giving up a possible top 5 pick is not unheard of to me.

When has it happened if it’s heard of?

WRs have very little hard trade value.

Compensation should extend beyond 2023. Which is why a 1st this year is fine, especially since they don’t have one.
