Don’t even have to change the name on the jersey

Perhaps. But there is some small school guy with marginal production , or guy at a position of non-need show the Saints are drooling over to show they are smarter than the rest of the NFL

I really wanted Nabors this draft, but think he’s out of reach now that we won. Coleman might be there and I’d be happy with him.

A big wr would be nice to pair with shaheed and olave. We may have to go oline though

We’re drafting a DE or OL without question so don’t get your hopes up

Carr did fairly well with some serious malcontent BS from MT13/Olave.

Drafting a wr in the first should make Olave play better and give us competition and cushion.

Every WR selected in the 1st Round of the NFL Draft since (at least) 2017 produced a 2.0+ YPRR in college career.

Brian Thomas Jr - 1.93
Keon Coleman - 1.87
Adonai Mitchell - 1.75
Xavier Legette - 1.75

All would be the lowest since Jalen Reagor in 2020 (2.08).

Fade Thomas & Coleman in R1, I reckon

Nabors, Odunze and even Bowers would be the play if available

I really wanted to disagree with this . . .

Agreed. Odunze fits us the best. Big, strong, fast. Not necessarily THE fastest or THE biggest but he checks the boxes. He can work all 3 levels and at 6’3, that’s the makings of a WR1

I’d love to get Alt or Fashanu. They probably go well before our pick though. After that, we are kind of too high to take one of the other OT unless we trade back.

I wouldn’t be upset with Odunze or Coleman at WR or Latu or Verse at DE.

Yeah no way we get Alt or Fashanu and I just don’t think the other OTs are even close to their level. We just need talent across the board. Don’t care if it’s WR, Bowers or maybe Newton the DT or Latu, Turner or Verse

If he suits up and takes the field he’s already giving you more than MT has given you the last four years.

Agreed. THIS IS THE TIME to rip the band-aid off. Quit kicking the can, trade the expensive vets, build draft capital, and acquire QB next year

Tee Higgins 2.0 if he’s still there in the 2nd round it’s a no brainer
