Belichick was on it?

That seems objective.

Swap Brees and Elway. Elway is so overrated. Never had 30 tds in a year.

Maybe I’m too young, but is there really any reason to put Marino in over Brees?

They want players from all eras. So Brees and Rodgers were essentially competing with Manning and Brady. It’s dumb

Lol...dude Brees is great but Elway in this era would have flashier stats that all of you hold dear.

Elway is a white Donovan McNabb that rode TD’s dick

Media is a joke!! If he put up these stats in NY, he would be the best QB of all time! Drew won’t get the credit until he makes the HOF!!! But I’ll take him on our team any day!

Then why didn't he have flashier stats compared to his peers in his day than Brees does now?

I think Brees is getting shafted here, but I do think people have a very short-sighted memory when it comes to Elway. Yes he had great teams and a ton of help from TD on those last two Super Bowl teams, but the man carried 4 other Broncos teams that were way less talented to Super Bowls.

Elway’s stats never really showed his greatness and I am a Brees fanatic.

I think Marino is the bigger question mark. His best year ever was his second in the league. After that it was hit or miss with him and outside of two years in his first 4, he reached 30 TDS one time and only got above 30 TDS twice in his career.

What happens when Brees does something historic? The next day he's knocked down a peg by the talking heads. There is an agenda, he plays in New Orleans.

They literally started making the case that he may be the best of all time.

Isn't this the exact argument against Brees? Elite on way less talented teams, defenses not good enough to make the playoffs that he dragged to conference title games?

I think where Brees separates himself is his level of elite play as he's aged. Elway was still good but he was a shell of what he used to be by the time he won a Super Bowl.

Marino's physical skills were deteriorated by the mid 90s, mostly due to injuries. He was never the same after that achilles injury.

How in the world does Marino and Staubach make it over Brees? Ridiculous.

My god you are retarded. Elway drug 4 shite teams to the SuperBowl before being on good teams.

Brees couldn’t last in that era, that’s the truth about it.

Marino and Elway would torch this era.

Come on man you mention Favre??? Staubach, Otto Grahmn and Sammy Baugh got in over him. I think I’d start there first! Favre is very deserving.
