Yeah, my post was about 1/10th the size of the article and included actual experience/facts instead of inflammatory bullshite like 90% of your nonsense. My bad. I didn't mean to summon Saints Talk Boom.

This is really what you are looking at. In short, what makes a pyramid scheme illegal is the fact that the money generated is from the signing up of new members and not the actual sale of the product itself. Advocare is a legit product that hundreds of thousands of people have tried. This is a stretch to say this is any different than Mary Kay(which is legitimate), but I don't claim to know all of the inner workings of their business model.:
"It is understandable that consumers often have difficulty telling the difference between an illegal pyramid scheme and a legitimate multi-level marketing opportunity. Governmental regulators and the industry continue to debate where the legal lines are drawn. Multi-level marketing is a lawful and legitimate business method that uses a network of independent representatives to sell consumer products. Compensation must primarily be based on the sale of products and services to the ultimate consumer.
Pyramid schemes claim to be in the business of selling products to consumers in order to look like a multi-level marketing company. However, little or no effort is made to actually market the product. Instead, money is made in typical pyramid fashion...from recruiting other people to market the program. Sometimes, new "distributors" are persuaded to purchase inventory or overpriced products/services when they sign up.
Pyramid companies make virtually all their profits from signing up new recruits and often attempt to disguise entry fees as the price charged for mandatory purchases of training, computer services, or product inventory.
Pyramid schemes are not only illegal; they are a waste of money and time. Because pyramid schemes rely on recruitment of new members to bring in money, the schemes often collapse when the pool of potential recruits dries up (market saturation). When the plan collapses, most people, except the few at the top of the pyramid, lose their money."

yet if this story were about Matt Ryan or Cam Newton being spokespersons for some Pyramid Scheme, y'all would be putting them on blast.
So I'll continue to make fun of Brees, even though I really don't care all that much. Just another feather in the cap.
Definitely a pyramid scheme and it's obvious that the only thing Drew covets more than children is money. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

He endorses an overpriced product, makes him no different than any other celebrity with an endorsement deal.

People are stupid.
A few years ago my younger sister got caught up trying to sell Limu. She was ecstatic after coming back from a meeting. I sat down and was super polite, tried to explain how these programs work. You could have swore I was a dream killer, a non believer, and I was gonna miss out on a big opportunity. I told her to stay away from the family with that shite. Low and behold who does she try to sell her product to...her family. Well she lost her arse off on Limu and we never talked about it again.... Welp guess what she showed up to my door with the other day. Advocare. I swear some people have NO sense. None

Everyone I've encountered that sells it also only speaks in terms of gross income from it, they never talk about the net income.

Limu is such a fricking scam. There were people selling it that claimed it "COULD help" cure cancer.

some of you people would be cool with Brees screwing your wife let alone being the face of a pyramid scheme

Its a retarded analogy.
I'm not "letting" Brees be a spokesperson nor is any one other than Brees himself.
I'm not letting him bang my wife.
One is my choice and one isn't.
