Brees, Saints closer than reported?

It was a joke based on the fact that Chase's last name is Daniel, not DanielS

I believe this. I have some experience with big negotiations and you can always tell when someone is not getting their way... they start talking to the press (which is what all that Brees press stuff was about a couple weeks ago). The less we hear, the better it means things are going, and things have been pretty quiet lately.
