Drew Brees
@drewbrees
Despite speculation from media about my future this fall, I’m currently undecided. I may work for NBC, I may play football again, I may focus on business and philanthropy, I may train for the pickleball tour, senior golf tour, coach my kids or all of the above. I’ll let you know

It’s cute watching plant workers dunking on a Super Bowl champion worth millions of dollars.

What’s your issue with plant workers? Typical liberal elitist.

This is not a surprise. It was not a good transition for him after his playing days were done. He is probably better suited as a front office guy for the Saints.

I do wonder if Maria Taylor has something to do with this.

She’s now the host and has gone on record with how much she despises Brees because he didn’t immediately throw up black power fists.

I am not on the Brees hater train, but no one can deny his virtue signaling damaged his reputation. He was in a lose lose situation, but the dude has frick you money and didn't need to cave to anyone.

Dude needs to enjoy his time with his family, his fine wife, and his millions living in beautiful San Diego.

Maybe he made more poor jewelry investments and that’s why he keeps working. Last thing anyone wants is him throwing 5 yard slants to Olave.

You are absolutely right. It used to piss me off to hear Drew in an interview after a Saints loss. He was too nice and it would have been better for him to get pissy sometimes. Same issue as a commentator. He was just too damn nice and not respected because he would not criticize any player or coach. Yes men don’t make it long.

I wonder if the mutual part has to do with him seeing Tom Brady getting damn near half a billion dollars from Fox and him wanting to cash in?

The stars aligned and the saints won a superbowl in Paytons 3rd year, nevermind we got bounced in the playoffs since.

The funny thing is Brady is MAGA as frick and makes no apologies about it and Fox is paying him out of the arse. Brees went corporate PC tiptoeing and NBC doesn't even want him.

Having Brees last season played in empty stadiums never sat well with me and I'd love for a proper send off but when comparing the ceiling of Jameis and the ceiling of Brees, I feel Jameis gives you the better chance at a Superbowl.
